Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Onsen Guest House Tsutaya is a recently renovated ryokan situated in Hakone, 6.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. It felt like 5* hotel! Truly an experience! Would stay def more nights!

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The futons were comfortable - unlike many accommodations. The villa was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the onsen.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Very nice, very clean, new and very well furnished. Spaceous room. You have yukatas which can be weared everywhere in the hotel (even at dinner!), a pair of Japanese socks and a cute tea set in the rooms. Comfortable fouton beds and pillows. Dinner is a special Japanese experience - do not miss it!!! Very tasty and with an exceptional attentive service! Breakfast is also good in the same stile (although not as good as dinner;-)). Public onsens are seperate: 1 for men and 1 for women. Both look the same and have one inside and one outside baths. There are 2 small "family" onsens also with small inside baths only; and 3 very small private onsens which can be booked. Overall it is a very nice SPA hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there!

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Erittäin vanha mutta oikein siisti ja toimiva kokonaisuus. Upea miljöö ja puutarha. Laadukas onsen.

Set in Hakone, 8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. Excellent stay and exceptional staff. The meals were beyond! My mom does not eat fish and the staff went above and beyond to make separate meals for her. Loved the location. Walking distance to the train and an amazing Open Air Museum. We'd be lucky enough to stay again!

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. Very welcoming and helpful Hotel staff. Great location very close to station. Lovely onsen. Particularly liked the lounge with LPs & record player.

Providing lake views and a garden, Chuzenji Pension offers accommodation in a prime location in Nikko, within a short distance of Kegon Falls, Chuzenji Lake and Chuzenji Temple. The location is only 3 mins walk from the bus stop and the scene which can be seen from the window is very beautiful. The room is clean and wide. The service is more than 5 star hotel and the staffs are very friendly. We felt like home there and enjoyed marvelous food (dinner & breakfast) in the cozy dining room. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel the nature and peace of life.

Set in Hakone, Centurion Hakone Bettei offers 4-star accommodation with private balconies. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan is up the mountain but they will provide you pick up and drop off service daily. Room is clean, well equipped and upscale. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I spent 2 nights here. The private open air bath is really nice. Would stay here again if I am in the area.

Boasting a hot tub, Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan is set in Hakone. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 6.2 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The host is incredibly friendly, even taking the time to plan our sightseeing route for us. The onsen is amazing and private. We loved the experience staying in a typical ryokan, and the host made it that much more enjoyable.

Viehättävällä paikalla Tokion keskustassa sijaitsevassa cyashitsu ryokan asakusassa on ilmastoidut huoneet, baari, ilmainen WiFi ja yhteinen lounge. Staff was helpful and very friendly, onsen had a great view.
