The traditional restaurant at Riad Soleil d’Orient serves Moroccan specialities and European dishes. You can enjoy breakfast or dinner in the dining room, the lounge with fireplace, on the patio or terrace. The Riad is a true oasis in the middle of the El Jadida medina. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning and fast and reliable wi-fi access. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with freshly baked m'smen, a typical Moroccan bread. I had dinner twice, and the food was delicious. One of the times, they served me a lamb tagine which was divine. All the staff is friendly and helpful. The owners, a very affable couple, are always attentive to guests' needs without being a nuisance. The interior courtyard, with a fig tree, two palm trees, and a small fountain in the middle, has several tables and is a great place, sheltered from the heat and wind, to sit and work. It is also where breakfast and dinner are served. A terrace equipped with sun loungers makes it possible to sunbathe in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I loved it.

The host speaks very good English, is friendly, helpful and makes a good breakfast. A great deal for very little money!

The restaurant and chef will prepare Mediterranean dishes and traditional Moroccan cuisine.
Very comfortable room and lovely rooftop terrace for sitting out. The riad is close to the historic Portuguese City. Asmaa was very helpful and advised on how to get from the railway station - by a shared petit taxi costing only 15 dirham. I was greeted with a pot of mint tea, biscuits and dates on the rooftop terrace. Also, the breakfast was the best I had during 2 weeks travelling around Morocco, including fruit, pastries and eggs.

Artful styled room in a lovely typical riad in the middle of the portugues medina. Friendly and supportive host and staff. Nice rooftop. Free parking for moto right infront, guarded parking nearby. Moroccan breakfast in the related restaurant nearby.
Excellent location to the old media of Casablanca and the food markets, also across from the hotel is a wonderful Bazar worth visiting as it supports local artists showcasing traditional Moroccan skills in weaving, wood work, jewellery making, ceramics, art, leather and textiles in a modern way. Shower was hot and strong and a little small but it’s an old building so you expect that. It’s not a fancy hotel but if you just want a clean room and good location for a good price, then this will be ideal.
Everything is very good. I like very much the breakfast, the location, the staff are helpful, the service is very good, and can check in even I arrived at midnight, traditional moroccan style decoration of the rooms and the building.
We stayed there to catch our flight out of Casablanca. Even though the location is far from town and isolated, the fact that there was a free airport shuttle, free breakfast, and dinner made it an ideal place for our purpose. The riad was comfortable and clean, the food was delicious, the transport service was prompt, and the host and staff were very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed the interaction with the staff. The guys were very positive, ready to help, and always available. I liked how clean it was. I recommend this riad it over the big chain hotels.
Disgusting hotel 😡, terrible unfriendly staff, dirty rooms with mold and terrible smell, they don’t even have towels in the room, they have some water inside of the soap dispenser instead of soap, moreover manager shouted at me, I HAVE PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA after this hotel!!! NEVER GO THERE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO RUIN YOUR EMOTIONAL STATE AND HOLIDAYS. The only positive thing about this hotel is a charming lady who was cooking Moroccan crepes
Full of character and traditional Moroccan decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious
This was a very clean, light and airy riad. Its actually more of a hotel than a traditional riad and I was actually grateful for this after staying in some dodgy riads in the past. Everything was good including the air conditioning and the bathroom. The location was great - short taxi ride to the beach and very close to the Casa Port railway station and the medina. I enjoyed my stay with one exception - see below.
An absolutely stunning Riad, no wonder Vogue and interior magazines make reportages and photos here. A beautiful inner courtyard with many trees, plants and a pond filled with water lilies and a fountain. It's very calm and peaceful. Nice freshly made breakfast is served in the courtyard next to the pond. The rooms are just amazing. The location is perfect near the old Portuguese City and the souq. Highly recommended!
The location was peaceful with big garden courtyard just outside centre. Perfect for studying or working or socializing at late as u want. Bed curtains, four star hotel breakfast. I would stay again
