  “Mrs Pavica was a very good host. As soon as we arrived I was given a cold beer and my wife a refreshing fruit squash. She offered to put a wash load on for us and when we got back from dinner in a restaurant it was all hanging up on the balcony to dry. We had a delicious Slavonian breakfast. There was far more than we could eat and she offered to make a packed lunch.for us - but we declined the latter. With the help of Google translate we were able to learn more of her story and what she and her husband had gone through in the 90s with the war. Mrs Pavica has a very big heart!”

  “The location is just a short walk (around 1 km) from the city centre. It is great that the Pansion offers a free parking space. Pork cracklings and cottage cheese for breakfast were an unexpected but welcomed addition. The room was clean and had a pleasant smell (good air fresheners). Communication with the hosts was friendly. You should definitely greet the cat that checks on new guests ;)”

  “Very friendly staff. This is a family business, being in this hotel you feel the warmth of the family hearth, it’s as if you become part of this family. They are ready to help you with everything. Delicious breakfasts with hot, fragrant buns baked with love in the oven. I really liked the relaxation room with a jacuzzi and a warm lounger, which will be prepared for you at your request at the right time. The rooms are impeccably clean and have very comfortable mattresses. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip. Everything is great, well done!   “We got an additional service that's not advertised - transportation from and to nearest train station, that's 50km away. Quite important with virtually non-existent public transport. And yet another thing that isn't advertised - everything is decorated with beautiful art pieces made by a local painter, Ante Bakter. And they are for sale! The above two really stand out compared to local competition. But sure, plenty of good food, nice staff, and even music.”
