    “An amazing stay in central Pingyao Old Town. The hotel is very stylishly decorated (in contrast to many other cheesy ones in Pingyao. The room is spacious and the courtyard is nice and quiet. The breakfast is mostly homemade and delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They treated us with tea upon arrival, then afternoon tea. They even remember we preferred whole meal bread from the previous day’s breakfast. It’s not a cheap place (given the general price level in China) but it’s a very memorable experience.”

    “We had an amazing time at Elsewhere Hotel. The hotel is located in the old city centre of Pingyao, and it is an old building in Chinese style. When we arrived, we had a warm welcome with a cup of tea. The staff is really friendly, and they speak English very well. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a hotel with greater hospitality! The staff helped us with tickets for several attractions in the old city. We really recommend to stay at this hotel!”

    “The staff of the hotel are very nice and helpful. Linfeng is a small city of Shanxi, and there almost have no foreign visitor in the city. When we arrived, the receptionists were quite shocked. But the girls handled the situation very well. The room is comfortable and clean, it has a large window towards the main street, it was a little bit noisy. Actually, we were happy to see the traffic and the people on the street from our window. It is vivid life scenario on the street.”
