“The first night I wasn't able to sleep because the blinds are very thin and there was a very bright street lamp outside. I explained this to the staff and they moved me to another room where I slept well. Hopefully, they have fixed the problem with the blinds. It's a good location in a historic area. There's a pub downstairs but no noise. The beer is good.”
“Close to the railway. The city centre is a 30 minute walk, but there's a bus stop around the corner with buses going to all the major attractions in the area, so it's very conveniently located. There are convenience stores and a few cafes around, but not much else. The room (bed in a 4 bed dorm) was small, but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. It didn't feel like there was anyone else staying in the place so it was very quiet. There's nothing expectional about the place, but it's clean, safe and cheap.”
“A well-located guesthouse with comfortable beds and a friendly owner. We appreciated the breakfast and the common area, including a fridge. Communication with the host was excellent.”
“The atmosphere was really good and nostalgic. Roof top of the house is a fun place to hang out and enjoy the weather.
Cleanliness and organization in the guesthouse are really good
The cassate player room has a great mood to it”
“The place is beautifully maintained. Historic experience of staying in a Hanok. Quiet, quaint surroundings as you walk around the village. And the most charming & hospitable owners ever , who really took care of us and fetch us for dinner and to the tea plantation. Highly recommended.”
“The breakfast was prepared so sweetly, but sadly we had to rush to meet our scheduled bus so we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it. Still we loved the big room and location...so convenient.”
“Wonderful traditional room in hanok house in a convenient and creative area between the station and the mountain. Very welcoming host and fabulous fresh breakfast. This is a lovely gentle, creative place to stay made so special by the artist host. The forested mountain and sculpture park are a short walk up the steep hill behind for views into the far distance, and there are also streets of murals nearby. Highly recommended.”
