“Juda Homestay is such a beautiful place! The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed is cozy. The AC was working perfectly! The terrace is enchanting with all the plants. Juda was a great host and organised our tour to mount Ijen. Staying outside the city center had the advantage that we had the most beautiful walk to the train station through some rice fields.”
“The room is really clean with kettle coffee water and snack. It is closed to everything you need. Easy to get scooter. They help you if you have question. Really good place”
“Clean room you can get coffee or tea anytime. The breakfast was good it is really closed to the beach and there is a ping pong table where u can play :)”
“Dave is very welcoming and friendly host, he showed us Pulau Merah and the surroundings, which was so beautiful!
Would recommend you the banana pancakes for breakfast, so good.
From the room to the beach is only 3 minutes walk through the jungle of coconut and papaya trees 🤙
Very nice stay!”
“My wife and I were extremely lucky to stumble across this place during our 7 month motorbike tour around Asia. Hadi, his family and all the local staff were amazing, friendly and incredibly welcoming. Hadi has created and built a beautiful homestay with such care and attention which is located in a beautiful part of Java and very close to the beach. The lodge is new and provides very comfortable and clean accommodation some of the best we have stayed in. Breakfast of eggs and bread is included and lunch and dinner is available to buy and includes, chicken, rice, vegetables, tempeh and sweetcorn fritters. What makes this place special and unique however, is the organised tour to Sukamade beach located in Meru Betiri National Park to explore, discover and observe the turtle swim up to the beach to lay its eggs. Here the locals run a conservation programme to protect the eggs laid on the beach from predators and poachers. The eggs are collected and kept in the hatchery until they hatch and are released into the sea. The tour includes a full day, one nights stay in the park and a morning of releasing the baby turtles back to their home the following morning. All well organised, includes a private Jeep and guide, food and accommodation for the night, trek and boat to Green Bay. It is a little on the expensive side but worth every penny and such organised tours provide support to the local community, the programme and the conservation. It is worth noting that whilst the homestay is one of the closest available to the beach, due to the unmade road it is still a 2 hour journey to the park. We stayed 2 nights at the homestay, 1 night before the overnight stay in the park and 1 night after. If you have time I would recommend this, but if not 1 nights stay before with 1 night in the park is sufficient. Incredible experience and we wish Hadi and his family all the best.”
“Very good accommodation!! Extremely friendly staff and very clean room! We ended up extending an extra night here and I would definitely book here again!”
“Loved the amazing views and the warmth and hospitality of our hosts. Both the rooms we booked had stunning views of Bali strait and sunrise. Breakfast was also so yummy.”
