  “two tatami rooms are very nice, 10/15 minutes walk to Matsuyama city, good communication with host friendly neighbours at first we were disappointed cause the bathroom is just a plastic add on on the balcony and the house from otside is not so nice also very close to train tracks, was okay cause trains do not run during the night but was a surprise However we felt okay after all. Ita a good expierince for real life japan. Common flat for common people.”

  “Host fantastic. Gave amazing reccomendations for local sight seeing. Very big, very clean. Great to cook our own food. Lots of nature, aslong as you can handle lots of moths and other creepys. The views nearby were otherwordly. Would recommend for those who can cope with no internet. Slept best we have done all holiday.”

Despite our late arrival at 7.30 pm, they personally met us to give us the keys and provide invaluable advice on what to experience in the city. Their friendliness and dedication to ensuring our comfort were truly remarkable. We were blown away by their hospitality and felt disappointed that we had only booked one evening at their lovely home. This experience has left such a positive impact on us that it makes me want to visit Japan again, just so I can spend more time in Matsuyama and at Guest House DOUGO-YADO. Thank you once again to the staff for making us feel so welcome and for going the extra mile to make our stay memorable.   “This country side villa is renovated to accommodate a family, a couple, and a group tourist in the western Shikoku. The location is not convenient if you do not travel by car, though the Saikyo city is a bike friendly town and you can enjoy a quiet country side with your bike. The villa has a beautiful and gorgeous bathroom with a comfortable bath tub and a strong shower. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and a bonus bbq grill is available at patio. The owner is a very friendly lady who also runs a ramen noodle shop in town. You may want to try her ramen during your stay.”
