  • “I waited for my boyfriend to do the Choquequirao, and stayed 5 nights/days. A well needed retreat of calm and tranquility. The hotel is well located, a bit apart from the village, comfortable rooms and a nice terrasse to chill. Elisabeth is really nice, helpful with information, tips and logistic, she really made me feel at home. She grows vegetables next door that she can cook for dinner at a good price. Thank you Eli for everything and for making this stay memorable 🤗 If I could put 6 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

  • Muña Hotel Review score: 9

“The hotel itself is brilliant. It is new and the build cost will have been significant as both the design and the finishes are not the cheapest. Apart from the design of the hot water system everything was perfect - sorry I used to design buildings... The price is OK except that this is Talavera. It was a stop over for us en route between Cusco and the coast and perhaps we missed something but Talavera is a dusty little nowhere town and the hotel is situated on a dusty little street in said dusty little tow. This is fine if you stay inside but if you want a coffee or to eat then there is only the dusty little town - chicken and chips shops. It's a shame because you don't go to a 4star boutique hotel and then have to eat at a 1star restaurant.”

  • Hotel de Turistas Abancay Review score: 10

“Very large and comfortable rooms like suits. Best restaurant during my six weeks travel. Victor is a very attentive hotel manager and makes sure that guests (especially foreigners) feel at home.”
