“Super chilled hostel with beautiful and calm garden. The whole hostel is a social project worth to support, running by amazing warm hearted and fun people.
There is a well equipped kitchen, a bar, coffee, water, hammocks, a guitar and always good music. They are offering great tours, tattoos, laundry service and are cleaning every day. It's in a calm area, you can still walk to the center or take a tuktuk for 6.000cop. Highly recommended!”
“They took really good care, when there was no bottled water they went out in the middle of the night to get it. It was a nice chilling place, the music was kept down to the minimum. I got all the info I needed on how to get around. The bus was particularly useful to get to town.
There was a lovely natural pool of water few hundred meters away and there were other places within easy reach to swim.”
“I think this hostel's outside facilities are better than any I've seen in a hostel or hotel - four hammocks, an outside bar and a gorgeous pool. Beautiful! And really friendly staff. (They sorted me out a bottom bunk and a place to store my luggage when I went off for a few days). It's well situated not far from the Parokeet Square , the banks and the ethnographic museum. Breakfast is eggs, fruit and bread, personally prepared when you arrive!”
“Leticias Guest House served as a great base from where to explore Amazonas, and doubly more so for us non-Spanish speakers. If coming to Amazonas, I would book them first and then plan the rest of trip in location. The hostess and her son were very friendly and spoke excellent English - and were always available to help out planning my activities. Through the Guest House, I got a customized and authentic two-day trip to the rainforest with an interpreter with me, and with a very good price.
I also really loved the food the Guest House offered. Ate breakfast every morning and a customized supper.
Location was nicely next to the Santander park and easily within the walking distance from the port. When I left, I walked to the airport which was a nice 15-minute trek.
I initially only stayed 1 night, but ended up coming back for the rest of the trip.”
“The spot is just amazing. The family is kind and do everything to make your stay comfortable. I was supposed to stay for a single night but the hostel suggested a tour with a guide, Daniel, a citizen of the San Pedro community. I spent 2 nights in the forest and one in his community. One of the best experiences I had. Thanks a lot to the volunteers who were really helpful. Thanks to all the team.”
“Eware is an amazing place! We loved the pool, the animals and the location. Carlos was super helpful and the tours were amazing too. I can 100% recommend this place!”
