We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

ItalyThe room cleanness should be improved. In our room the sink was clogged. We informed immediately the reception, they apologized but, in any case, we had to stay with the sink clogged. We would have expected a compensation at the check-out.
Very good position, with possibility to book private parking slot under the hotel. Good breakfast although the food should be covered. We experienced people heavely breathing and coughing on it (COVID hasn't taught anything). There's an in-house restaurant.

Its my second time in the hotel. I would say it is near to where I needed to be but in Arendal everything is near....Lovely hotel. Fab without being pretentious, breakfast to die for (best we've had in Norway), views are fantastic, rooms uber comfy. Bath is spotless and well heated...All in call - a winner on all fronts. Oh...and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomI had a room with stairs to the bed. I perhaps didnt notice this when I booked. It was OK but may be an issue for some. The restaurant menu is a little limited but there are plenty of places to eat in Arendal
I have stayed at the Tynholmen many times. It is an excellent hotel and very well positioned. The breakfast is excellent and the staff really freindly. The rooms that overlook the fjord are amazing

NorwayThe door was broken and was difficult to get locked. We also had problems with the TV where not all the buttons worked and we couldn’t use our chrome cast. The bathroom solution was hopeless: the whole bathroom got wet when we showered, sliding door instead of the usual door (not alot of privacy.) It wasn’t particularly soundproof and there was a boat which crossed and made a lot of noise

NorwayParking was taken care of upon check-in, but on the 2nd day had to come back and talk with the reception again as it wasn't working. Got a rude Front Desk person saying I had to come and talk to them before parking the car, when in fact I just had to call the number to open the door (if everything was according to procedure). Most serious is not having had an apology for the trouble of having tried to call the number several times, after tried to call the reception without reply, and finally reverse my car from the daunting ramp to ask politely to open the door - and being confronted with the not so polite Front Desk. Breakfast was also falling short of my expectation for the brand. Have stayed in Stavanger and Bergen Clarions, I was kind of spoiled by the breakfast quality and variety. In here, although I understand that might be a slower location, still the breakfast had much less variety, as so for quality in general. Noticeable in the pastries and plating (mostly stainless and porcelains - others had cast iron and fancier stuff!). Hope it helps! Wifi - OMG! Just fix it please. It really sucks and you can tell why people are all over the main areas of the hotel with their laptops. My room (306) just didn't had a stable connection to perform a simple teams meeting. Asked for service, what was promptly available, but that nothing fixed.
