Asweome room bigger than expected, staff was great waited for us to check in late and very friendly.

Check-in was not until 1700, and there was no way to contact the property without a cell phone plan (I had a data only eSIM) to store luggage. Another guest had the same issue. We ended up returning to the station, and I paid for a coin locker. An alternative way to store luggage/contact the staff would be helpful in the future.

The location near JR Wakayama station and value are great. In addition, the capsules are well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed.

Very helpful staff. Easy to check-in and check-out. My first experience with "capsule" hotel. Capsule is closed with plywood doors so private is enough even you can here what is going outside.... Inside TV, sockets, headphones, enough place to sleep and put backpack inside. But not suitcase - it stays outside your bunk. It is super close to train station.

It was continently located near Wakayama station. The staff were helpful and friendly. The place was clean and comfortable and inexpensive. Check in was flexible too.

the female floor is located on the second, so you've to walk up an outdoor staircase, which could be difficult for elder people. Also, the microwave is really dirty, I used some tissues to wipe it, it's all brown.

Location is great, around 10 minutes walk from the train station. the bed is clean.

The hostel is conveniently located in walking distance to the station. A supermarket, restaurants and convenience stores are in walking distance as well. The capsules are very modern with aircon, a small TV and even a small foldable table. The shared facilities were decent and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay a lot.

I wasn't aware that there are no staff members working there all the time. I had hoped to store my luggage there before check-in time, but upon arriving early, I found the door locked with a sign instructing to call the staff. So, I made an international call from my phone to inform them of my early arrival. Fortunately, a staff member arrived promptly and assisted me with an early check-in, which I appreciated. In general, offering WhatsApp or Line accounts for foreigners to contact the staff would be a more convenient and friendly option.

Guesthouse kukuru is very close to Wakayama Station. It is a 5-minute walk from the station to the guesthouse. The capsule, the open area for dining, bathrooms, and shower rooms were clean and well-organized. In the open area, there is a fridge, a water boiler, and a TV, so guests can relax there. Overall, it is a good spot for solo travelers.

Late check in is 5pm and they do not allow for baggage storage after check out. JR train station had public lockers for 300-700¥

Excellent and safe location, 5 mins walk from JR train station. Very spacious capsule and clean common showers, great to have amenities like microwave and oven too. Reception didn’t speak English but was very helpful and did his best to use google translate to communicate.

Bed space - I had the lower bunk and it’s too low (it’s basically on the floor)

It was really easy to get to from the JR Wakayama Station, and there's a shopping mall and convenience store nearby, so the location is really great! Facilities are amazing and clean. The capsule itself is comfortable, with TV, clock and you can adjust the air-con as well. The staff that checked me in too was really friendly and welcoming. Truly enjoyed my stay here!
