Well located in the centre of Funchal, Barceló Funchal Oldtown provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. We needed help and the manager really help us more than expected

Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. The location was perfect to explore Funchal, free parking also included. The room and the service was incredible.

Everything was amazing. Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Facilities are world class. Service is brilliant, the staff are so helpful and friendly. Very clean and comfortable.

Nag-aalok ang 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira ng mga eleganteng kuwartong may tanawin ng Atlantic Ocean. The welcome by Joana Perry to start with. This young lady who met us with great kindness and enthusiasm needs to be highly commended for her manner and professionalism. She should train many another receptionists in other hotels who often leave very much to be desired. Our apartment room had a great view over the Natural Pools and was excellently well-equipped. Very comfortable and spacious. All members of staff were extremely kind and were evidently proud to be a part of the Aqua Natura team. Well done to all. A little parting gift of jam was a lovely send off.

I can say that if we come to Madeira again then it is because of this place and I mean it. This place has everything you need for your perfect stay: a breathtaking view from the balcony (make sure your room has it), a cosy modern room with all the necessary facilities (minibar, safe, coffee machine, tea kettle, tea, coffee capsules, bathrobes, slippers etc.), lovely spa with pools, sauna and hot tub, great breakfast with lots of varieties, outstanding restaurant with friendly staff, delicious local cuisine and stunning view from the terrace, wonderful bar with live music and top standard cocktails and local spirits. I would like to thank especially Marlene, the bartender, who was extremely helpful and caring, telling interesting stories and facts about Madeira, making our stay unforgettable. Also, Aurea , who showed us a wine cellar and made a short tour even if it was closed yet. We are so thankful to all the team including reception who is doing the utmost job to make their guests feel welcomed and I am sure that the manager is reading this. You have done everything right, your hotel is like a big family where each member takes care of each other and treats the guests as members of the family and we could feel this. I wish you and your team all the best. We will be back one day to experience this hospitality again which is rarely seen around the world.

Matatagpuan sa bangin na nakaharap sa Atlantic Ocean, nasa loob ng ni-renovate na traditional farm house ang design hotel na ito. The nature of hotel is insane. I liked our stay and the staff was very friendly . We booked for a wrong day and they still accommodate us without penaltyis. Thank you for everything.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. the highly competent and friendly staff, the amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean, the rooms, the little snacks that they brought to the room almost every day

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Friendly staff! Very clean and beautiful gardens around the hotel. It's very obvious they pride in their work and work environment. Beautiful views of the city and free parking ☺️ Nuno is so helpful and friendly I really enjoyed learning about Madeiras. Thanks for a lovely stay. Their brown labrador dogs Nikki and Sasha are so cute and friendly and love to play catch, if you love dogs go and see them.

Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. We loved everything about the hotel. The staff went above and beyond for us we can't thank them enough. We had a massage at the spa which was definitely the best we've ever had. The room was fabulous and bed was super comfortable. Great breakfast plenty of choice. It was a nice distance from the main centre but and the shuttle bus was very handy. The live music I the lobby each evening was great. Although the construction site was on the same side as our room it did not effect us at all. We will definitely return.

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Perfect location for a getaway and as a base point to discover the island, especially the Western part, just an hours or so drive from the airport/Funchal. You need a car if you want to explore the island. Great view from the room (sunrises are fantastic), comfy beds, nice and modern facilities, inside pool with salt water and infinity pool on the roof, beautiful lounge on the roof to chill, tasty food and great presentation in the restaurants (both breakfast and dinner, we did not have lunch in the hotel). Many cool activities just a minutes walk away: lava pools, diving with sharks and rays in the aquarium, whale and dolphin watching tour. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and welcome from planning prior to our trip until we left. A special thanks for organizing one of the most beautiful flower bouquets ever for my wife's birthday. The people working in this hotel should be proud of themselves for the great job they are doing and the smiles they are putting on the guests faces. Thank you, we would love to come again.
