They gave personal and impactful recommendations (Spellbound cave tours-highly recommend!), and they were always ready with a funny story or anecdote. The breakfasts are amazing! We 100% recommend a stay at Abseil Inn!

This home sits atop of a lovely private serene lifestyle block set in the rolling countryside of the Waitomo Area-We had a lovely host whom was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The home itself was very clean and presented wonderfully with; all of the modern kitchen equipment. There were additional entertainment features I.E indoor and outdoor games and BBQ facilities- Modern fire place with wood provided. The bedrooms were immaculately presented with linen and generally a great home layout. Spacious home which can accommodate a large group easily.

Beautiful environment, useful facilities, … and most importantly: cleanliness. This was the cleanest hostel we’ve stayed at (we’ve been to many around the N island). Best spice of the place: Dave, his unique sense of humor and his lovely dog :)

Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge is located in the centre of Waitomo Caves Village. Continental breakfast was lovely. The hosts were very attentive.

Just 600 metres from the famous Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, this award-winning holiday park features a large swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, BBQ area and a children’s playground with trampoline. Great location near the glow worm caves. The man in the office supplied us with headlamps for a nighttime explore of the glow worms in the forest. We met several friendly folks staying here.

The property is perfectly located 10 min by car from the Waitomo Glowworm. The communication with the host is extremely smooth. We were also very positively surprised by the food in the fridge, which saved us a trip to a supermarket and a trip to a cafe in the morning for breakfast. Really appreciate it as we are traveling with a young child and this helped a lot!
