We appreciated that we could get from the car to the accommodation without getting wet when it rained. The hosts and their lovely dog were so friendly.

We did some star gazing and got some amazing pictures. It is also very close to Hobbiton, which we went to in the morning.

It is a small, elegant, and beautiful accommodation space. Penny prepared many New Zealand locally-produced tea, coffee, chocolate drinks, and biscuits. Even the bathroom supplies are made in New Zealand, such as shampoo and soap! The room is equipped with a TV that can access the internet, allowing us to search for TV programs we want to watch on YouTube. Laurie and Penny not only recommended excellent local restaurants, but also kindly reminded us of the time changes during the daylight saving. I have to say, the breakfast bags prepared by Penny gave us a good mood after setting off. The chocolate muffins and blueberry muffins, along with fruit yogurt and juice, were a perfect combination.

Boasting a garden, 59 Chaucer Apartment offers rooms in Cambridge, 5 km from Cambridge Thoroughbred Lodge. A free breakfast is offered to guests. Well what can I say it was amazing. From the first moment we arrived Andrea was so welcoming. She put the fire on for us, turned lights on if we where going to be home late. It was a home away from home. Highly recommend this place.

Located in a rural setting, Podium Lodge offers accommodation 2 minutes' drive from Cambridge. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Each well appointed room has a flat-screen TV. Great price, only a few minutes drive from town. Clean, really enjoyed. Can hire bikes only wish we had more time.

Ohaupo Olives offers accommodation in Ohaupo. The bed and breakfast has a barbecue and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a drink on the deck. Free private parking is available on site. Great hosts, even gave us snacks with our sundowner, Lovely breakfast included.
