A Place in the Paddock is situated in Matamata and offers a garden. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. A Place in the Paddock was lovely! The surroundings of the farm and nature was really serene and it was comfortable to relax ourselves as it was away from the crowd and noise (much more peaceful than the cities). We enjoyed the view very much and even got to see the farm animals from afar, such as the cows marching at dawn and the rabbit stealing some lettuce; how cute!! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect (it was wet and dreary), we still enjoyed having a stroll around the farm and snapping photos at every opportunity. The apartment was large and cozy, with fragrance (and a cow theme which is cute) in every room, even the toilet! We even got the chance to bring a book home from the collection, but it was a pity that none caught our interest :( (I did like the 100 Wonders of the World, though…)

Central Motor Lodge is located on Morrinsville's main street within 250 metres of local shops, restaurants and bars. Accommodation options include spacious rooms and stylish suites with modern décor. The room was spacious. Defined lounge and tv area, dining, bed and kitchen. Bathroom was also large with plenty of room. Friendly staff.

Built in 1977, The Nunnery is located in central Te Aroha and offers a guest lounge and a shared patio with BBQ facilities. It is a 2-minute walk from the Te Aroha Mineral Spas. Great location for accessing hiking and mineral pools.

Located in the centre of Matamata, this motel offers a swimming pool and a hot tub. All rooms offer a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The owners were so welcoming on arrival and explain everything clearly to you on arrival. It had everything we required for our stay and the kids loved the big garden and all of the equipment in it. They also thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Location was great and shops were a walkable distance.
