Featuring an in-house hair and beauty shop, the self-service Wilhelmsen House offers central accommodation in Tønsberg. The property is a 5-minute walk to public transport. Very modern and lovely rooms. Good location as well, by the hospital but quiet at night. The beds were cozy and the rooms were beautifully decorated. The cafe there is very tasty and staff extremely friendly. The breakfast is a good value.

Featuring views of the harbour and fjord, the Thon Hotel Tønsberg Brygge is located in Tønsberg. The popular entertainment area, Brygga i Tønsberg, is within 300 metres of the hotel. Beautifully decorated room with fabulous views of the harbour. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The bathroom floor was heated! The hotel is on the boardwalk with all the best restaurants & within walking distance of trains, buses, boats, museums. Very pretty city! I wish to highly recommend the Thon Hotel Tonsberg Brygge. 10/10.

Dating back to 1914, this hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Sandefjord Station. It offers free afternoon waffles with tea/coffee, a free evening buffet, plus free sauna and gym access. The hotel staff was very kind! They gave me some tips to get to Torp airport early in the morning and told me about the shuttle bus available at the Torp station which I didn’t know about. When I left the next day at 4am the person at the reception was once again fantastic, giving me a sandwich and fruits and coffe as I wouldn’t be able to get breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff!
