The hotel is connected to JR station and it's super convenient with few shopping centers in walking distance. The room is very spacious ( compare to traditional hotel in Japan), we still find the room spacious with two big luggage open up in the room. There is washing machine and drying machine where we can wash our clothing from hiking. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they tried to accommodate our special request. There are many local restaurants near the hotel and we feel home when stayed here. Will definitely stay here when I visit again.

Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The location is super close to the station and restaurants, etc. It's very convenient. The staff were so nice!! I felt very welcomed. The room was nice, big bed, big bath. I could even watch Netflix on the TV. Overall I recommend this hotel if you're stopping by Kagoshima city.

Purtroppo abbiamo letto che l'hotel avrebbe chiuso a gennaio! peccato! letti ok, colazione nella caffetteria la piano terra per quanto uguale per tutti tre i giorni di permanenza, molto carina e originale! se riaprisse, consigliato!

Amazing service from Hotel Kyocera. Hotel bed is very good quality. Very comfortable hotel. Not too far from restaurants, JR line. Is a good hotel to stay at if you want to be close to Kagoshima airport.

The location was easy to walk to or catch a bus or ride a taxi. The Onsen and spa facilities were amazing. The restaurant served great food. The small shop had delicious ice creams and omiyagi. Our package included a Japanese breakfast which was delicious. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and super helpful… even insisting on carrying our hiking packs for us! Would book again without hesitation.

Fantastic retro style hotel. Lovely staff, great rooms, delicious breakfast buffet. We did the supplemental sand baths which I'd highly recommend to anyone. Gorgeous views and great price. Would 100% come back and stay again.

The prettiest hotel ever! The bedrooms are so incredible, you can really feel like Japan in the 1900s, super traditional. The staff are really friendly, they speak English. The breakfast is amazing, but if you’re looking for a toast or something more ocidental, I wouldn’t recommend it. Otherwise, go for it! So worth it.
