Located in the village of Planca di Sotto, the Waldheim Hotel has a Tyrolean restaurant, a sauna and a hot tub. It offers Alpine-style rooms with a balcony with Dolomite Mountain views. We didn't have time to explore around but our short stay was excellent, we were happy with everything we got and the staff even gave us bus tickets for the start of our hike.

Lovely location and lovely staff. Local language seemed to be German but the staff either spoke brilliant English or had the patience to work with us to get past any language barriers.

This was our favorite hotel in our week in the Dolomites. Beautiful family run hotel with great room, outstandingly helpful and friendly staff who really seemed to enjoy their work and go out of their way to help. Beautiful quiet location in a quiet valley with nice easy hiking from the hotel, nice balcony, wonderful food, easy parking. Every detail of this hotel was carefully done and well made. Such a nice place to stay for a quiet getaway from the crowds.
