We absolutely loved the Bear Hotel and always make reservations there when we visit Wales. The rooms are charming with a mix of old and modern furniture, the bathrooms are updated and the showers have good water pressure, important if you have long hair! The breakfast is served in an adorable restaurant immediately across the st with delicious coffee and an array of breakfast foods , cooked to order. The owner and his staff are incredibly attentive and you are not rushed at all! Everything is quaint and charming as well as delicious!

The Mount Rooms is set in Barry, 6 km from Penmark Castle and 6 km from Fonmon Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site on a first come, first serve basis. The location is far from Cardiff Central but fortunately the train station is just down the road

Situated in the beautiful Welsh countryside, Celtic International Hotel is less than a mile away from Cardiff International Airport. location is super convenient, next to Cardiff airport and stuff is super nice

I have been stopping here every year for the past 6years around the same time for the autumn internationals it a good standard budget hotel close to railway 20min walk for a 20min train ride to Cardiff meaning I don't have to drive to Cardiff , and they are well accomodating I call up at 21:50 to say that we are returning later than expected and if there was any chance of food and the wait for us and cook a meal for us, what more can you ask for. Défi recommended . Especially for those that don't want to pay ridiculous price .

In 22 acres of scenic grounds. Just off the M4, the hotel is surrounded by Mid Glamorgan countryside. The charming bedrooms at Miskin Manor Hotel boast period features and elegant decor. Beautiful location. Good food.

Once we got into the hotel the staff was helpful and friendly. We had checked in early as we were going to a festival near by and they let us put our bags in one of the rooms until the rest were ready.Our rooms where clean and a good size aswell as the bathroom. We went into the bar in the night and the locals were friendly and made us welcome.

Set in 650 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside, Vale Resort features a luxury spa, 2 championship golf courses and 2 restaurants. The resort is a 15-minute drive from Cardiff. The gym is exceptional, the stuff very friendly. A rich choice of food for breakfast. The surroundings are lovely - we went for a nice little morning walk to the Hensol Castle which is only 10 minutes away.
