I even took photos of it for future renovation ideas. hot water came out instantly. the bed was very comfortable and best of all so were the pillows. the staff was very friendly, helpful, and pleasing.

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. Incredible place, quiet and beautiful. Our host was great and her cooking was delicious.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views. Location was excellent with beautiful grounds. Gemma was an exceptional host. Rooms were very spacious. Everything was spotless.

The hotel, the staff, the peaceful surroundings, the farm animals, the hiking, the pool, the food. Everything was spectacular, we did not want to leave.

Located in La Vall de Bianya, 40 km from Girona, Hotel Mas la Ferreria boasts an outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Beautiful boutique hotel, our room with a big terrace was really nice. Recommended for couples who are looking for a romantic peaceful and quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the dinner was great.

Set in the Alta Garrotxa countryside, 20 km from Olot, Can Pei is a farm stay with an outdoor pool and bar. This rustic-style stone property has cosy rooms with mountain views. The stay was for my birthday and it was perfect. I wanted nature, quiet and animals, and I got all of that. The masia is beautifully restored keeping its original charm, there are 2 dogs and a cat that are super friendly and Montse is a attentive and welcoming host. We had dinner prepared every evening, with fresh ingredients and a lovely breakfast every morning to give us energy for the day. Montse will explain all the hiking routes and key attractions. Definitely coming back with the first chance we get!

Offering a quiet setting in Maià de Montcal, La Fustana features spacious rooms with terraces. It is housed in a modern building, constructed from recycled materials and wood from local forests. A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Ubytovacie zariadenie El Ventós sídli v kaštieli z 15. storočia a je situované na panstve v národnom parku Garrotxa. Ponúka bazén, izby s balkónmi a bezplatné Wi-Fi v celom objekte. The food was amazing. I was shocked at how good the dinner was, especially in such a remote location. The room was well equipped and the views were spectacular.
