The hotel is an efficiently run place to stay, the breakfast was very good and the staff were always on hand to help. We were pleasantly surprised by the location and felt very welcome, definitely a place we will return to. Some really good places to eat very close.

Location was excellent with beautiful grounds. Gemma was an exceptional host. Rooms were very spacious. Everything was spotless.

A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
