It had everything I needed. Quiet, private, a pool, which I didn't use due to weather conditions. There is no oven but I was able to make a few great meals using the electric burners. Washer and dryer and a wonderful steam room in the shower.

Everything from my arrival to departure was flawless. This was my third stay at the Oitavos and the place never ceases to amaze me. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are modern spacious and elegant, and beds are super comfortable. The balconies all have beautiful views of the Golf course which is a wonder in itself. The breakfast buffet is spectacular and the lunch and diner menus are fantastic with a wide variety of portugues dishes. The deserts are to die for and the wine list is extensive and complete. As this trip was in February the outside pool was not an option it is beautiful in the summer time. The inside pool, sauna and Turkish bath are all spotless and are a must if you visit the hotel. If you want to treat yourself to something out of the ordinary I strongly suggest you visit the Oitavos. Nick Uricchio
