Nice and clean, very spacious. Robes, slippers and flip flops provided. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend to book in for the spa room, it was a highlight. Simple but tasty breakfast with good variety of selection. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Staff made everything super handy by being available to communicate via WhatsApp. We stayed two nights which wasn’t long enough.

One of the best stays we ever had. The location is ideal. Close to Montalcino (5’ drive) but also isolated and serene. The room itself was spacious and the Villa had all the amenities. The breakfast was also one of the best - if not the best - we ever had, prepared with care and with local ingredients. The staff went over and above to make our stay ideal. The tour and wine tasting are of course the icing on the cake

Breatkfast was great, Fabio had a selection of freshly baked cakes every morning on offer and prepared eggs just as we liked it. Each morning he attentively asked what our plans were and suggested places to go. The view from our room was breathtaking. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well (it was +33C outside). The pool area was cosy and relaxing. Montalcino town was close enough for eating out and shopping.

The team at Borgo Canallichio is a true gem, always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay for their guests. Their helpfulness and sympathetic nature made me feel instantly welcomed and cared for. They were readily available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and assist with any requests. The pool area was simply amazing. Nestled amidst the lush greenery, it provided a serene oasis for relaxation. The beauty and cleanliness of the hotel were also worth mentioning. Overall, my stay at Borgo Canallichio was nothing short of perfection. The staff's hospitality, the stunning pool area, and the pristine beauty and cleanliness of the hotel all contributed to an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with exceptional service. I cannot wait to return to Borgo Canallichio for another memorable stay in the future. The hotel owners are also the owners of the winery located on the other side of the road, which produces one of the best Brunellos in the region, thus, a wine tour can be easily arranged.

Everything was perfect. The owner Patricia and the manager Dagmar are very kind. Our experiance was unique and full of adventures, from the first till the last day. We did not want to leave. They have 2 kittens, which we alost adopt 🙈. We play with them all the time. The view from the pool was absolutely adorable. Breakfast was delicious ( a lot of sweet pastry). We highly recomended this place! - if you need a break from outside world, this is perfect. Ps. It is also rained - after 4 months.
