”I loved the lodges - cute wood cabins, and the restaurant served great food (with lots of vegetarian option, which was great for me). I think it’s great that they protect the surrounding forest - I believe they’re in charge of protecting 5000hectares of forest. The excursions (the tours in the forest / on the neighboring island / on the river at night) were truly amazing. Our guide Ever is greatly knowledgeable, he gave us lots of explanation about the animals, the trees, insects, plants, and their interactions which was super interesting. I was blown away by the beauty of the forest, and its richness in terms of animals. My highlight is probably when we got in the middle of a big feast for cappuccino monkeys and squirrel monkeys - they were everywhere and so cute.”
