„We only stayed for one night, however it was clear what a great place this is just from the one night. The owners were super helpful and even upgraded our room to give us a little more room as we had our 1.5 year old with us. The property has a swimming pool and hot tub although unfortunately we didn't have a chance to make use of these due to the weather. The room was very clean, well looked after and comfortable, including microwave, fridge and good Wi-Fi.
The owners were also lovely. Whilst staying there we received an email from a future booking at another hotel saying they had cancelled our stay in two lights time. Unsure what to do I asked for advice from the owners who were really helpful and gave me advice on the best way to deal with the matter as well as the likely obligations of the hotel from what they knew from their own obligations. They then let me use their office phone as I had no cell phone signal and my daughter was in sleep so I couldn't use the room phone.
Overall this is a great place to stay and the owners appear really conscientious, willing to help and very friendly. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again if I'm the area“

„I went with my adult techie son on a mother-son ski get-away. He loved the "old school" home made cookies that were waiting upon arrival as well as the unique Victorian decor. Pat was very welcoming and accommodated us with a 2 bed room. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. Fresh cut fruit, granola that was chock full of nuts, delicious veggie quiche, thin crunchy bacon and pancakes made to order. Yes, he still orders chocolate chip ones and she pegged it! We had a thermostat in our room and we set it to our comfort. The beds were very comfortable. We walked to 3 different restaurants and pubs while we were there. The stars were brilliant. We would definitely return.“
