“Kievskaya Russ Hotel and Resort Spa is situated in a lovely area called Shidnytsia with stunning views of the Carpathean Mountains. My Wife and I deliberated for a long time whether to go or not, a 25 hour bus journey was daunting but we needed the special Naftusa mineral water , good medical advice and appropriate treatment, we looked at many sanatoriums in Truskavets but we decided to try Kievskaya Russ as it had such good reviews, good facilities, mineral water and fresh mountain air. We are certainly glad that we stayed there as the welcome on arrival was great, after collecting our bags from the taxi a cheerful and proud porter showed us around the hotel and medical facilities, our room had a nice quiet position with a balcony and great views, the cleaning staff were very friendly and polite. As soon as we had settled in, we made an appointment with the Chief Doctor, her name was Labov , a lovely, professional and caring lady who spent careful and considerate time with us, she prescribed the various procedures that we needed and explained the type and amount of mineral water that was correct for us. Her Medical team are a credit to her, caring , professional and attentive. The young ladies on the medical reception were always polite, smiling and very efficient, we wanted our conclusions and various documents translated into English and Russian, they found this no problem. We had a fantastic Masseur Marjan who gave the best massage we have ever experienced. The main hotel reception was efficient, we did have a small problem with language but this was soon sorted out. The Senior Administrator called Inga made our stay memorable by taking interest and being very professional and attentive to our wants and requests , she also was able to speak English which pleased us very much.”
