«This was the most welcoming and comfortable stay we have had in years. The room was beautifully decorated in a rustic style, it was spacious and very comfortable. There are mosquito nets on all windows, which is a big plus as the area is mosquito proned. The bathroom was spacious, decorated in the same style as the room and we were happy to find we had plenty of space to put our necessaire bags. We had acces to the kitchen and the barbecue where we prepared the most delicious fried fish and barbecued pork chops. The kitchen really is fully equiped with everything you need and is perfect for families or small groups who want to cook or spend the night in. The garden is a wonder to look at, with lavender and various red fruit busches, very well kept and spacious. And the owners are marvelous people, very welcoming, kind, funny and eager to help. They truly made us feel like we were home. They also have a boat tour business offering cruises in the Danube Delta. We chose them for a cruise to the quaint village of Mila 23, right in the heart of the Danube Delta and it was amazing. The boat was very well kept, the pilot was very professional and kind, he took extra care of the waves so as to not rock the boat too much, as I am 5 month pregnant and tend to get sea sick. Visiting the Delta was an awesome experience, the views are breathtaking and really worth seeing. The owners also aranged for a fish lunch in Mila 23 and it was by far the best we ever tasted: we had fish soup and fried fish with polenta . Really recommend it!»
