“My husband and I stayed for 4 nights here. We had a great time. Aflio and his father were very friendly. Alfio booked our Etna trip for us and gave us a big discount! The facilities were very nice and complete, kitchen was well equipped. There was no airco (there was a fan) but since it cooled quite nice during the nights, it wasn't necessary. The location was nice and very convenient for an Etna tour and for visiting the Alcatara gorge. Nice hikes in the vicinity. There were also a view reasonable Cafe's where you can eat pizza. Wunderbar has very nice gelato, also Terre bar and le Palme bar have good gelato. Alfio also arranged our trip up Stromboli since he is a vulcanic guide. He did a great job! We would definitely come back!”

“We, a family with teenage daughter, spent two nights at Etna Mon Amour at the end of July, to visit Etna and Taormina. The owners, Simone and Angela, received us very kindly, the appartment is spacious and really nicely furnished. We arrived late on Saturday and they surprised us even with some tasty things for Sunday breakfast. They provided the contact of the guide to Etna, Guiseppe, who took us to the excellent round trip to the north side of Etna by the jeep right from the appartment. We saw a lot and received very good explanations. The stay and visit of Etna were better than expected.”

The location of the property is ideal for joining an excursion on the North side of the Etna.”

“I booked Gli Iris for my Family’s pre Easter break. It is a wonderful place to stay. It felt like a home away from home. The host was very welcoming, helpful and available when needed.
