“The location a 3 minute walk to the village and clean Beach with basic mini markets and lovely traditional Taverna's. It's position with the newly established vineyards give it a feeling of living in a traditional Greek countryside with great views of the sea ,mountains, village.The rooms are spacious with their own little kitchenettes and lovely covered porches to relax on. Dimitris the young owner is passionate about preserving the culture and tranquility if his accommodation and surrounding area. The perfect place to relax and gather your thoughts in a truly beautiful little island that is still very traditional.No curio shops,traffic. A piece of heaven the island and accommodation. “The property is located nearby the center of the island Stavros. The bus stop is located right outside the apartments which is more than convenient. To our surprise the room was huge and the housekeeping service exceeded our expectations. Dina and Dimitris, the owners are some of the friendliest people you will probably ever get the chance to meet! They go out of their ways to assist you and make you feel like home. Their house is always open for any help, information or even just company that you might need. This outlet could be easily located in any greek island and meet its standards fully. We will definitely come back........ in fact.. as soon as possible! Thank you Althea! Till next time..”

“Sofia was very good at communicating prior to arrival to make sure she was at the port to meet us and drop us off, just so that we didn't have to carry our bags. Sofia was always available if we needed her. The rooms were very clean and tidy, beautiful views with private balconies. Great value for money. Air conditioner was amazing, and fly screens to use at night. The beach was about 5mins walk at most, so stunning and crystal clear. The best island I've been on in the Cyclades!”

“It was one of the most unique accommodations I have ever stayed at on the Greek islands, and I’ve traveled to many over the years. The owners (husband: Dimitri, wife: Dionysia) were super kind and thoughtful. Not only that, but the entire place was handcrafted by them. From the traditional Cycladic architecture to every furniture/accent piece in the rooms and the communal kitchen area, the amount of creativity and thought put into it was amazing. Their younger daughter Ioanna (I believe that was her name), who also helped around the property, was also such a lovely presence. In addition, Stenosa is just a short walk away from the stunning Kedros beach and one of the best (if not the best) restaurants on the island called Agnanti. I would highly recommend staying there if you visit Donousa!!”

Maria picked us up from the port and even offered to take our luggage to the ferry (we declined, because it was just a short walk to the port).
