「The warm, kind and energetic welcome by Béatrice,who makes you feel part of the family, an accommodation laden with history and a respect of family and local traditions, art, plants and animals are what comes to my mind. It was lovely to learn more about the heritage to Alsace by the Spindler family generations, whether it be 'marquetterie', a special kind of woodwork at the time of Charles Spindler, and the following two generations, or all the care, scientific understanding and respect of the soil and the plants with which biologist Mathieu Spindler brings to his most sophisticated and palate surprising organic jams from fruits and flowers only from his own garden that we got to taste every breakfast, which was varied, tasty and plentiful. Saint Léonard and Boersch are close to Obernai and therefore a calm yet central location. I absolutely loved the decor and the generosity of spirit by the lady of the house the most! A unique place not to be missed. French, German and English spoken ..makes for colourful breakfast discussions!」

「The house was just perfect: recently renovated, fully equipped...abd with huge “charme”. We have a 9 month baby and the owner was so kind to supply baby chair, rails, baby bed... briefly all the stuff we needed. Lastly, Boersch is perfectly located to visit not only the Alsace wine’s route but also all relevant places in Alsace. Definitely recommended!」
