“It is a rather old hotel with a lot of character. The owner/operator told us all about it and Bad Harzburg. The beds were very confortable and it was fun exploring and hanging out on the large balcony. We arrived very late but the owner was there waiting for us. Bad Harzburg was a little difficult to find as we arrived from the south. It took us about 45 extra minutes from the more direct route. The was a very nice little restaurant still open at 2230 just one block from the hotel. Good food and interesting conversation. In the morning we walked around the Kurpark and a little in the town. Spotlessly clean and very beautiful grounds. The architecture in the village is unique to this area and the villas are quite large. The breakfast had a little something for everyone. Everything was ready for us as we arrived.”

The Wi-Fi connection was stable and good speed. The shower worked well, there was great water pressure, and the water tasted really good, like our water in Anchorage, Alaska.”

Loved the location and its an easy down hill walk to town...but you have to walk back up the hill afterwards. :) The hostess offers a free bus ticket too!! along with coupons at the local stores. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by another night.”
