Samarkand is a city rich with history, where every site has a story. The main attractions like Registan Square are stunning, and the local food is delicious. People here are very friendly and welcoming. I also found the city to be very safe. It's a great place that feels both ancient and welcoming.

The location is fine, close to many restaurants and parks. A walk to the major historical sites is a bit longer (about 25 min), but you'll walk along a leafy boulevard and it is easy to get there. The hostel is clean and the cute lounge area is comfortable to hang out at. This place was recommended to me by friends who's stayed here last year and I recommended it to a fellow traveller I met in Bukhara. Would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who visits Uzbekistan (especially the solo travellers).
