Bbq option, lots of points of interest nearby by car. Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful nature in terms of deciduous woodland and fields. Calm and peaceful. Smart owners leaving you alone if so desired rather than being pushy or over the top. Remote yet not far from sights. Animals, horses were great.

We travelled Denmark and Sweden for 12 days. Ameriden was BY FAR the best value and our favorite overnight stay. The house and common areas were expansive, clean and phenomenally well-equipped. The room and bed was fantastic, the bathroom was impeccably clean and new, the Breakfast was out of this world delicious with an abundance of variety and home-prepared foods, and the hosts were gracious and friendly. This facility and the hosts are 12 on a 10 scale. Can't recommend a facility more highly than Ameriden!
