Very clean, warm and comfortable with convenient car parks, cooking facilities, fridge and even a shoes dryer! The camping ground has very nice view of snow mountains and lakes.
It took us 20-30 minutes to drive to Park 2 for the Trolltunga trip, also very handy.
Tyssedal Hotel is by the Hardangerfjorden at the foot of the Hardangervidda Mountains, 6 km north of central Odda. It offers free WiFi, private parking and free sauna access.

The accommodation was spacious, new, modern and well-equipped. It is a series of separate apartments on the first, second and third floors. Access is from a door on the street and it is not possible to unload a car from in front of the building. You have to park in another location but there is plenty of free parking available nearby. To get up to the apartments there is only a narrow stairway. The first floor apartment has a door opening on to a large roof-space with very nice views of the fjord and surrounding town.

Odda is quite small and the place is not too far from city centre. There should be an additional information about rent of duvets and bed sheets for 10 euro or 100 nor coron (they do not accept cards so you have to take cash from atm). Ppl at the reception are nice. However the information about limits in water quite weird. In Norway everything is a bit more expensive but comping just Bergen to Odda, Odda you have to multiply prices for accommodation. Quality wasn't that high, room clean but showers are need to be improved. Also they need to inform ppl to close the door from kitchen as smell is going around the whole building. Enjoy your stay don't forget to take your tracking shoes before entering the building. :)

Nice position and good connections to the Trolltunga trail.
Nice position and good connections to the Trolltunga trail. A bit pricey for shuttles 230-250 NOK to P2. Plus extra 130 NOK from P2 to a higher point at P3. No that many options in terms of restaurants so think about preparing your food. The Thai restaurant is very good though with cheap prices and big portions.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment with shower room, kitchen and sitting room area. the apartment was clean and well equiped. The staff on arrival were very helpful and friendly. the linen and towels were included and of good quality. The rooms were above the recption and shower block so there was some noise transfer up to the apartment but thats not unexpected. We had 2 of our group doing the trolltonga hike, and 2 of our group wanted a more sedate walk being nearly 80 yrs old. the staff were able to give advice and clear instructions for them to enjoy a suitable walk. they couldnt have been more helpful, thank you.

The drive to Odda was very scenic!
The drive to Odda was very scenic! We were staying there to hike Trolltunga and it is not very far from Odda. We also visited the glacier which is nearby. You can view it from the glacier's parking lot if you do not want to hike it.
Giving the fact that the overall expensiveness in Norway, Trolltunga Camping is meeting my expectations. The facilities are very basic but very clean, and the location is nice. There's a bus station #980 right in front of the building. Even if you cannot take the P2 bus during the off season, you will still be able to get to the Odda bus station in 8 mins. The room is super clean, and there's a beautiful park right behind the building so I took two morning walks during the time I stay here, a good, budget place to stay in Odda.
Due to a system error, we got an alternative accommodation in Odda, which was super beautiful, clean, nicely decorated and had all facilities for cooking, a nice bathroom, comfy living room, nice view of nature, and very comfortable beds. It was very quiet, which was perfect for someone like me who gets easily stressed by noise, and the air was also really good in the apartment.
The hostel itself is really nice. The problem was just that some people were snorting the whole night and it was impossible to sleep 😅
But I guess it’s just a problem of the hostel concept itself, not this particular one. So I recommend this place as there are not that much more options in Odda for cheap accommodation, but I’d rather go to the camping site next time nearby!
This is a camping on the bank of a fjord, very beautiful place, 15 min on foot from the Odda city center, parking. We booked a double room with shared bathroom which was good, bathroom clean, 20kr price for shower, coins can be bought at reception. Small kitchen on the 1st floor. Nice, clean and friendly camping, would definitely stay there again.
Location is ideal. It's a cute little apartment, near Trolltunga in the center of Odda. You are walking distance from all the restaurants. There's also a Thai restaurant right below, which is perfect after a long exhausting hike.
The apartment was clean with a comfortable bed.
The owner is available via WhatsApp.
Great value stay in Odda. The room was always full, but with people who were in town to do Trolltunga so I got to meet hiking buddies and not have to worry about sketchy people. Much more affordable than anywhere else in town, and as a solo traveller looking to save money I had no problems with this hostel
Location - Odda is a small beautiful town and the apartment is located in the dead center. The keys were in a lockbox so checkin was absolutely no problem. The apartment was clean and all required amenities were available.
Close to the shuttle for Trolltunga and everything else in Odda. Super clean and the staff was very helpful and professional. Also, it has a traditional Norwegian shared kitchen that is absolutely adorable
The hosts were incredibly personal, thoughtful, and helpful. The location is beautiful, unmatched views of both Odda and the surrounding fjord. Incredibly great spot and spacious apartment.
The self-check in was very convenient. The apartment looked new and clean. It was spacious enough for 4 big bags and a few small ones. Walking distance to restaurants/ shops.
Lovely apartament with amazing view for Odda Fjord. Apartament has everything you need for stay. Very comfortable beds. We spent great weekend in Odda. Highly recommend:))
I loved the view of the room and the hotel in general. Liked the tasty dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and the breakfast was pretty good... the bed was so comfy...
