The place is just great, the environment is beautiful, the house had everything you need, nothing was missing. One night was too short to fully enjoy the surroundings and we would definitely like to stay here again someday😊❤️

Unfortunately, it was very rainy so we could not take part in any activities. Although it was noted online that boat tours were available this was not the case -apparently it had been a failed enterprise.
The train trip into Andalsnes was spectacular and worth the visit.

The beautiful fjord town, with the turquoise blue Rauma River winding through on one side and the towering peaks on the other. It is very well connected by train to Oslo and by bus to Trollstigen and Molde airport. It is suitable as a campsite for vacations and as a hub for trips to other places.

Super nice and cozy city/village, perfect as a starting point for some amazing hiking routes. 3 to 4 days should be enough to stay here: one for the Romsdalseggen hiking route, one to go to the Atlantic Road (around 100km drive) and one to go to Trollstiegen and Geirangerfjord. Preferably rent a car to visit this places but no car needed for the hiking routes.

Lovely fjordside town with access to hiking.
Lovely fjordside town with access to hiking. Good restaurants (especially Mama Rossi and the Thai restaurant). Romsdalseggen Ridge hike from the trailhead to town is not for the faint of heart (or those with a fear of heights), but rewards you with spectacular views!
Since we paid the very friendly owner directly upon arrival, we had an opportunity to meet him. He told us a bit about the history of the community and responded quickly to a couple of texted questions we sent him during our stay. He even offered to let us charge our rented EV for a very reasonable fee. We are active hikers/walkers, so we loved the close proximity of the house to the Andalsnes waterfront, grocery store, other shops, and especially the trailhead for the wonderful hike to the Rampestreken and summit just beyond.
The hotel was new and comfortable with nice and comfortable room. The common areas were also nice. Breakfast was served in the restaurant/cafeteria in the shopping mall and was a very good and classic Norwegian breakfast. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were very nice and helpful and that is the reason for the big smile score for staff, since this was the only staff we saw during our stay.
Check-in was easy with a code received by sms.
Location close to the river is nice.
This home with 4 bedrooms, a lovely kitchen/dining area and a large living room was perfect. It was newly renovated and far exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable and the location was only 4 kilometers from town. The owner was really friendly and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend staying here and we will again if we get back to Andalsnes.
it was a very cozy place with unique interior design, very clean. The location was great and good to reach from the train station and Åndalsnes sentrum. The staff was very friendly and welcoming . I was even able to have some conversations with them. they have awesome places to hang out in the garden and living room. overall I felt very comfortable.
Hyggelig Apartment with a fantastic Mountain View. Close to Trollstigen and Åndalsnes. The resort is a great place to start excursions and hikes. The view in the morning is just great. The kitchen is well equipped and supermarkets are close. Just within a 10 minute walk you can get another fantastic view.
The motto of this property is "Stay Weird" like it says in several places around the house. The place is weird but in a good way. Clean and hospitable, this hostel is an old house decorated in a rather original manner right in Åndalsnes town centre.
The Hotel is very good, rooms are tiny but clean and have a great view! They offer a modern hall with a meeting room and some tables, which is really nice looking. Overall it is a great structure in a strategic position.
Very clean and comfy apartment. The owner is extremely nice and even picked me up at midnight from the bus station, because the weather was very windy. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Åndalsnes
Cozy cabins in a gorgeous location! Loved the views of the rugged mountains from every direction. Close proximity to Trollstigen and Åndalsnes, and easy to do a day trip to Geiranger and the Atlantic Road.
Was located far enough from Åndalsnes to feel secluded, but close enough to easily get to the city center. It was quiet in the evenings and one could easily view the stars and northern lights.
The location was fabulous. Fantastic view out into the fjord and up the mountain. The apartment was very comfortable. Perfect for four people with a few days to spend in Åndalsnes.
Fantastic view, central location but out of the way. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It's not a fancy hotel but there's a cozy common room and kitchen you can use.
