For a two-star hotel, it exceeded my expectations in every way! I needed an affordable place to stay for four nights during my trip to Malta, and this hotel seemed like the perfect fit. After my stay, I can confidently say I made the right choice.
The room was simple but clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining its cleanliness. It felt cozy and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The staff played a significant role in enhancing my experience. They were incredibly nice and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or requests I had. Their friendliness made a real difference, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout my stay.
The hotel's location in Sliema was another highlight. Situated right on the promenade, it offered easy access to beautiful waterfront views, local shops, and restaurants. It was an ideal spot for enjoying the vibrant surroundings and convenient for getting around the area.
It's important to remember that this is still a two-star hotel, so it doesn’t offer some of the luxuries you might find in higher-rated establishments. However, considering the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the prime location, I found it deserving of a high rating. In fact, I wouldn't have rated it as highly as I did – a solid 9 – if it weren't for these key aspects.
In summary, if you're seeking a budget-friendly option in Sliema, this two-star hotel is a great choice. It delivers on cleanliness, friendly service, and a fantastic location, making it an excellent value for the price.

Sliema is lovely - very well connected with lots of shops and good restaurants and bars open late, with some amazing views of Valletta. The water taxi is easy and relatively cheap across to Valletta too - a perfect location if you don't fancy paying the higher prices of the main city. We felt very safe and it's very easy to venture into St. Julian's and other areas if you fancy more of a party vibe.

Sliema, Malta, is a vibrant and bustling city that offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and historic charm. As a traveler, I found Sliema to be an ideal base for exploring Malta. The city’s promenade, lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, provides stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby capital, Valletta. Sliema's central location makes it convenient for day trips to other parts of the island, and the frequent ferry service to Valletta is both quick and scenic.
The city is also known for its lively atmosphere and excellent shopping options, from local boutiques to international brands. There are plenty of dining choices, offering everything from traditional Maltese cuisine to global fare. The nightlife in Sliema is energetic, with numerous bars and clubs to enjoy.
However, Sliema can be quite busy, especially during peak tourist season, and the construction of new developments can sometimes detract from its charm. Despite this, the convenience, beautiful seafront, and array of activities make Sliema a fantastic destination for any traveler visiting Malta.

Traffic congestion due to narrow roads.
Traffic congestion due to narrow roads. A lot of construction. Beautiful sights. A lot to do. Many forts and churches. Multiple boat ride options. Hoop off hoop on was very affordable and worked well. Cab availability was great and most expensive fare was $30.00, usually about $20.00/ trip. Many restaurants were within walking distance, (less than 1 mile.). Beautiful city, no crime, a lot to see. Felt safe everywhere.

Very good public transport network included ferries to Valetta. If you would like to experience the culture then you would be in for a huge disappointment. It seemed to me that Maltese nation totally abandoned their culture in favour to tourism.

Sliema is handy for ferry to Valletta and is walkable to St Julian. It is a Marina type resort, not a sea side resort. Restaurants ok, not especially fancy. I liked Malta a lot but would recommend stopping in Valletta rather than Sliema.
Excellent location. Ferries to Valletta, ferries for day cruises, hop on hop off busses etc located 100 m away. Sliema amazing promenade right outside the hotel. Sliema (rocky) beach a brief 10 min stroll from the hotel. Numerous options for restaurants, bars etc in the area. Rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. Amazing waterfront views of manoel island and Valletta. We also had the chance to enjoy the Stella Maris fireworks show from our own balcony which was a unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The apartment is located on the 7th floor, in front of Sliema's seafront promenade, ideal for 6 people. There are cafés, restaurants, mini markets next door, as well as a bus stop and the ferry to Valletta.
Тhe apartment is beautiful, with a beautiful terrace and a view of Valletta, a view that takes your breath away.
The owner thought of everything and every possible detail when he was decorating the apartment. You have everything you might need when you go on a trip.
We went there for 10 days and it was amazing!
The hostel is well placed in Sliema (less than 10 minutes walk to all boat excursion, less than 5 for restaurant).
The Spa is peacefull and relaxing!
For the beach club: very near of the hostel, perfectly located in front of the sea and the staff is attentive to every request or questions!
The room is large, quiet and comfortable with a small balcony!
I think it's one of the best hotel in Sliema and maybe in Malta!
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. Its central location was ideal, and the rooms were both comfortable and spotless. The rooftop pool offered breathtaking views. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service. The hotel staff, especially hotel manager, Adarsh at the reception and the super attentive bar service, went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sliema.
After many visits in Malta, we decided that Sliema is the best location and this hotel had a great position right in the center of Sliema, on a quiet and safe street, close to everything.
The room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day, everything was just perfect!
And, at the end, the host agreed to keep, for free, our luggages until the evening, when we had the flight, which was a great help for us.
Keith (The owner) was very friendly and welcoming, he helped out by all mean to make his guest me feel comfortable and did his best to let me enjoy my stay.
The room is clean, the hotel is simple and very central, close to sliema Promenade and all accommodations are by walking around the corner.
The staff is nice and helpful
I absolutely recommend it and will be happy to comback again
Thanks Keith
We had a great stay. Fantastic location in Sliema, amazing view from our Sea View Room, close distance to the ferry and many tourist boats, restaurants, shops. Breakfast in the hotel was very nice, good selection from warm and cold buffet. Staff in the reception was very helpful and going extra mile arranging taxi or helping with travel cards. If we come back to Malta, we know where yo stay again.
One of the best hotels i have ever seen. It has the biggest room i have ever seen. One very cleen and quiet room and it has all the nessesary things(like towels, shampoo). It was in one the best places in sliema because it was 2 minutes from the ferry for valleta and for the ferries that does the cruises in whole island. It was near in too many stores for food and mini markets.
A great little hotel with exceptional staff who are very friendly and eager to chat, help, give recommendations. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced in a long time: fresh, healthy options, delicious, plentiful. Excellent location in Sliema, very close to the water yet still off the promenade, very close to a supermarket, an easy walk to restaurants/cafes/shops.
Everything was AMAZING. We took Half board and ir really worth it. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the two pools and the sauna. The hotel is connected to it's 5 star sister hotel "The Palace", but in my opinion, Victoria is much more stylish. The staff is very kind and helpful, especially Mr. Dragi at the reception, and Mr. Blagojce in the dining room.
Nice, small hotel located a short distance from Sliema seafront. There are a few bus stops very close to the hotel and it is only a short ride to Valletta. You can also take a ferry from Sliema to Valletta, which takes only a couple of minutes.
There is a lovely swimming pool in the hotel with a cozy seating area around it.
The location is very quiet.
Room was very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and there are USB -A ports by the bed.
An adapter for the sockets can be gotten from the Reception for only 2 Euro, which are gibven back when the adapter is returned.
Hotel is a short walk from the promenades of Sliema and to the ferry to Valetta. Also , a bus stop in front of the hotel !
Great stay in Sliema Marina Hotel for 1 night; courtyward room view is so quiet
There's a lot of space in the room and the services and the cleaning are great
Breakfast at the top of the hotel, with a beautiful view and a good buffet with a continental breakfast; fast check in and receptionist people so gentle and helpful
Highly recommended
Fast check-in and check-out procedure. Good breakfast. Perfect location on the seafront, a supermarket in the vicinity, lots of bars and a variety of eateries around. Nice and helpful staff. Bus stops (Chalet, Ghadir) a few metres from the hotel, 5-minute walk to Sliema Ferries and fast food restaurants.
- Spacious and clean room, and the bed was very comfy!
- Excellent WiFi connection
- Amazing view from the room
- Very good location (Sliema in general). There are lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants around; and it's very easy to go to Valetta (by ferry or Uber/taxi or bus).
- Friendly staff
one of the best hotels we’ve ever been!
the facilities are very clean and comfortable, the location is great.
the best thing is the staff!! so kind, generous, sensitive to our stay, extraordinary service providers. the best! thank you so much for everything ❤️
Good breakfest, reception guy Yaseer and rest of stuff very kind and helpful. The best stuff I ever had in hotels. Good location of the guest house, downtown of Sliema. Close to public transport, restaurants and shops.
I can recommend "the Maltese Sun"
Loved the comfortable and stylish room in this boutique hotel, which is located in a nicely renovated townhouse in an elegant Sliema neighbourhood with easy access to both Valletta and St. Juliens.
