Thanks to the lady at the reception(Mrs Lerato) she was able to transfer me to a bigger and more comfortable room, a very cooperative and patient lady.
I enjoyed my food too, thanks to Mme Lipuo who was delivering room service, awesome lady.

I honestly loved everything about the place...the room was beautiful and spacious, I loved the pool view. The welcome was amazing, felt right at home. As for breakfast, it was the highlight. Cooked and served with so much love. I would most definitely visit the place again when I go back to Lesotho.

Everything . The calmness I received from this place is exceptional! Thumbs up to Mme Tholang !
I didn't like anything. Potholes everywhere in the city.
I didn't like anything. Potholes everywhere in the city. People are hostile they always talk to you in their language even if you tell them you don't understand their language. Too much traffic congestion, people park cars in the middle of the road and it is nobody business. The city is horrible

The breakfast staff were simply AMAZING! Their friendliness was exemplary. Their Captain's breakfast is SUPERB and great value for money! You can't go wrong with that one!
I love that this place supports community development, which I fully support!

As I was there for a wedding, I didn't have time to check out some of the must-see places which were about 2 - 3 hours drive from Maseru. will definitely go back to experience those. The Thaba Bosiu village and monument were amazing. I wouldn't recommend driving in the heart of Maseru as the local are crazy on the road, there is no uber in the country so you will have to just toughen up and drive in the area.

It’s a beautiful country with stunning scenery but it has too many underprivileged people.
The infrastructure is not up to scratch. A lot of development still needs to be done. There’s shacks everywhere and the town is not clean.
Travel is easy in one’s own transport.
Places to see : Katsi Dam, Maluti Mountain.

I was really disappointed, I did not expect such filth and disrespect.
The manner in which the residents drive was unacceptable. Everything is far apart, you have to drive long distances to get to destinations.

The view of Maseru is beautiful...the nature of basotho appears great there you feel welcome when you inter that place its people the glow they give you...you eventually become warmly welcome with immediate fact as if you at your original home
When i arrived, i was very concerned, because the gravel entrance & first appearance, was very negative, but i was pleasantly surprised with the standard of the welcome greeting, which got even better with the quality of the room & the facilities, lots of coffee, tea & even hot chocolate... there was a bath & a shower, plus full range of DSTV, which actually worked, unlike majority of other places in Maseru. I will definitely stay again.
The breakfast was set out in the garden area in an enclosure. I particularly enjoyed the food and the enlightened conversation with the host on spirituality and gardening. The facility has a good garden that supplies some of the fresh produce used for food. The setting presents an opportunity for a higher elevated location of the dining area that could look over the Maseru central area.
Cleanliness, welcoming staff, great breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well furnished with Wi-Fi and comparatively to other accommodation facilities around town I believe this is cheaper.
It might look far from town, but remember the country of Lesotho and Maseru itself are very small and in a cab it's just 15 to 25 minutes (for the latter if there is traffic)
Mike and Tumi were amazing hosts! They provided us with delicious breakfasts and dinners (most of the ingredients came straight from their garden). They adapted so well to our last minute plans and also gave us great tips for our visit around Lesotho. The cottage was super cozy and the views were spectacular! Would definitely visit again!
Great reception and the hosts were amazing, kind and attentive and helpful with recommending places to go in the area. The rooms are clean and well appointed while the location is good as it is just outside Maseru Central and therefore close to many amenities. It is based in a middle to high income suburb of Maseru - which is quiet!
Foothills is my go to place to stay in Maseru. The staff is great, and it is always a very comfortable stay. The location in Maseru West is convenient and quiet. It is also nice to have the option of being able to cook if you want to. A nice surprise this time was that wifi was available.
The venue was clean and in a very quiet area. It also came with free wifi. The host was friendly enough to come get us as we were getting lost, thank you to the friendly people of Maseru who allowed us to use their phones to contact the host. We are most definitely planning on returning.
Good place to break up the trip in Lesotho! Had all the comforts needed… comfy big bed, good shower and working WiFi. The dinner was affordable and free tasty breakfast included
I had booking confirmation from Booking.com and a very officious lady said sorry we're fully booked. As a woman stranded in Maseru, early evening was not pleasant at all.
A nice and quirky guesthouse, with standalone rooms built in traditional style with thatched roofs, located in a quiet corner of Maseru. The staff was quite helpful too.
