We arrived late in HER airport, so we choose this hotel because of not far away from airport, half board, beach, can see sunrise. We had dinner in Yamas restaurant which has nice seaview. The dinner was small portions like street food but the view and atmosphere was great. The beach-Psaromoura is just just downhill, clean and calm. Staffs were friendly, WIFI stable, price worthy for half board.

The customer service was absolutely amazing! When I arrived, it turns out I got an upgrade to a suite with my own private pool - which was quite nice. And I cannot say enough about how kind, hospitable, and charming the staff was! Everyone I met made me feel like a million bucks and I could not recommend this place more.

Happy Cretan Suites is an absolute gem! I would come back again without hesitation. Everything was handled with such thoughtfulness and attention to detail by the entire staff that there was never any worry during the entire week I spent there.

The whole apartment with a small balcony that has a side view to the sea. It has everything you may need, including a great kitchen even with a selection of spices. Feels like home.
There's a small sitting area outside.
The sandy beach is a minute's walk from the place, it's small (somewhat crowded during the day) with a great view and lots of fish in the warm calm water.
There aren't any stores or restaurants in Mades (a hotel bar at the beach and a mini market 10 minutes away), so come prepared.
The host is extremely kind and helpful, very communicative - thanks again!

A small town in the bottom of this gorgeous bay. There is a small promenade along the beach. Lots of taverns and with small souvenir shops and several minimarkets. There is even a diving and boatrent centre, so lots of watersports.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late August 2023 celebrating our 25th Anniversary and we were upgraded for free to a suite (Room 805). We chose the all-inclusive package which included all meals in buffet style, as well as draft beer, house cocktails, and wine. Name brand alcohol was available for a fee. Plenty of Greek food as well as options for picky eaters. 2 pools, but only the upper one has a bar for all-inclusive. The bar at the ocean level swimming area is not all-inclusive. There is a bus that runs round trip from the hotel to the center of Heraklion about every 1 1/2 hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Agia Pelagia is a great strip of beach compared to others we stayed at. Vibrant little town. Snorkeling is as good as it gets with those planks of seafloor, you'll gets crabs 10 or 15 species of fish and even octopi. Also for snorkeling do not miss Paliokastro next door, and beautiful beach.
The hotel is beautiful and everywhere smells amazing. The views are amazing and our room (which was upgraded to Sea View with sharing pool) had an incredible view and lovely pool with sunbeds.
The all inclusive food was plentiful and had so much variety including desserts. Everything was replenished frequently and the staff were attentive and helpful. We were also able to have dinner in each of the a la carte restaurants and enjoyed every meal. Favourite was Umi.
Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful.
The vine-covered balcony was amazing. The whole hotel looked stunning from the outside and had a great sea view cause it was fairly high up.
Clean, large room and bathroom, if slightly dated.
Large pool, plently of sunbeds, never crowded. A peaceful place to just chill and relax.
Shaded car port available.
Agia Pelagia is a 30-40 min walk away (downhill), which may seem like much but was entirely doable, especially in the evening when it's cooler. We even walked back uphill twice during our stay.
Everything was great. Close to the beach, a store nearby, very helpful host! The more accurate location can be found on google maps under the "Sun by sea". It's in a very narrow street called Agias Galinis (which is not marked on the map :)) behind the store, across the car rental company, the second house on the right with some black metal fence parts.
If I come again to Agia Pelagia I'm staying here for sure. Although I stayed alone it's very comfortable for up to 4 people.
The location is perfect for anyone who likes a short walk to the beach in the morning.
The hotel is on a hill with an amazing view that can be enjoyed every day having breakfast. Agia Pelagia is a lovely location with 2 very nice beaches and lots of tabernas. The staff was very kind and did the best they could to improve my stay. They had great recommendations, I also received a packed breakfast one day I was out for a trip without even needinf to ask for it.
We had the most lovely staying here, staff was so welcoming and helpful, our large room was modern and very clean. We had a large kitchen, bathroom and living room. Perfect for families! At the morning we were sat out on patio with its amazing view drinking coffee with the best view we could wish for. It is situated just at the Agia Pelagia with the nice and clean beach. I will be sad to leave as our stay has gone too quickly. Definitely we'll be back !
What you see is what you get. Simply the best location in Agia Pelagia. Starting from the location up to the Owner, it is simply satisfaction guaranteed. The Villa is so classy and modern and yet perfect for family with kids. We got everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Thank you Ms Maria for your warm welcome, for accomodating all our inquiries and for all the freebies. This vacation is definitely one of our best so far.
First of all would like to say that we had fantastic time. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel has stunning sea views and is also surrounded by several beaches. All inclusive drinks such as cocktail were disappointing. If you want a delicious cocktail you have to pay. But the all inclusive food was very tasty. The variety of foods were wide. The room were clean and spacious.
Everything was over our expectations.
Starting with the staff, ending with the clean facilities.
Mrs. Daniela( front desk) is so kind and helpful.
The food was very well done, delicious, numerous dishes. The restaurant and the bar staff were also very kind to us and they managed to make us the best vacation. Many thanks!!!!!
We kindly recommand this hotel!
You rock, guys!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This location is 5 star. The price does not reflect the exclusive position on the beach. It's a slice of heaven. The sun rises right in front of you.
The house is super clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The host left snacks and water to get us started.
The roof garden has beautiful plants, sun loungers and 360 degree views.
It doesn't get better than this.
Excellent home, great for our family as we had plenty of space. Swimming pool and beach is a drive down but we had a hire car. It’s hard to get to place in Crete, unless you’re in a hotel without a car. Simos was excellent at communication and extremely helpful before and during our stay. Extremely hospitable! The pool staff are SO friendly and the food is great!
Family resort with friendly atmosphere and own swimming pool, good and quiet location not far from Ligaria & Aggia Pelagia beach, restaurant with nice outside terrace, Nicolas (owner) is experienced grill master and his souvlaki was delicious - best I've tried in Greece. Nicest and most comfortable place with the friendliest atmosphere we've tried in Crete.
The view of the rooms and hotel in general is beautiful and the amenities are plentiful.
Breakfast options are great, and the kitchen makes food allergy accommodations.
There is a bus stop at the hotel that you can use to get around Crete but the hotel doesn't easily volunteer the information, you need to ask.
Seven minute walk to the beach.
The customer service is absolutely amazing. By far the best I’ve seen in any hotel. You can tell it’s a family business and they will do anything to make your stay as good as it can be. The rooms are clean and modern. Food in the restaurant is also very good, not to mention the drinks!
Very nice hotel resort with variety of accommodation types. Tasteful breakfasts in SeaSalt & Rosemary restaurant. Beautiful stony beach with comfortable sun beds and sun shades, clear sea, almost no waves. Close to village of Agia Pelagia with plenty of tavernas and bars.
Nice cozy small boutique hotel hotel, nice design and two pools, the view is very nice to the lower sea and only a short walk down for the beach and restaurants. The breakfast looked great, we only stayed one night and it was very calm.
The View was amazing, with a fabulous balcony and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Laia was very friendly and made you feel very welcome. The bed was so comfortable, had the best 3 nights sleep during my trip to Crete.
Everything. Room was beautiful and spacious. Spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent. Pool area was lovely and bar staff great. Fantastic location. So close to beach and all restaurants.
Food was outstanding. Service was great. This a great hotel if you have little kids. Not so much if you want a more adult vibe without toys and playing kids in the pool.
