The Owner was so lovely they let us park the car very early to make a full day out in London . so close to the Tube station 2 stops to Wembley and about 4 into London . My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. The tube is about 6-8 mins walk depending on your stride length....so all in all it is a good base to explore as well.SteveUnited Kingdom

Nice comfortable beds with quality linen. The common areas are also fresh and welcoming. Excellent value. About a 20 minute leisurely stroll along the High Street to High Barnet Tube Station. The real secret about this place is the restaurant. I highly recommend booking. I shared the squid and the duck salad. Exquisite. Staff and service were absolute top quality. Definitely going will stay when in the area again.

The hosts were very accommodating, the parking space was reserved for our car and the room was spacious enough for 2. With the hot water running well perfect wi-fi and a comfy bed there is nothing more you really need for a short stay. We commute to London by car and the exit to M1 is just 10 min drive. Meanwhile getting to the city centre is easy with the metro station 5 min away. The neighbourhood is safe and cosy. Go for breakfast in the hotel - great value for money.

We find the area a perfect place to get into London - we walked to High Barnet underground station, around 20 minutes.
