Outside of the major city, close to grocery stores and bakery. The view of the ocean is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and extremely nice. The breakfast is good (grab an ocean view table:D)

The inside of the apartment is lovely. Clean. Basic stocked kitchen. The washer was broken but the host stated she could swap it out immediately. Host is very receptive.

It was so lovely, tasteful flowers everywhere, friendly reception, very nice breakfast available. Easy to go north or south by bus or walking.
It is walkable from the station, but best to catch bus, no. 12 or others, ask driver for 'Swimming Stadion Denmark'stop, and look for big waterslide.

It's a dead city that bored the hell out of me :) Thankfully, I was only there for business. The people are nice; the city is clean and efficient, as you would expect from Denmark. Perhaps more exploring would be good, and in the summer or spring, visiting beach areas may be more pleasant.

The shopping is excellent with plenty of choice.
The shopping is excellent with plenty of choice. There is a good selection of places to eat. All the Danish people we met were very helpful, friendly and polite - a credit to their nation.
Esbjerg is very well signposted for the walker and driver; we did not use public transport so am unable to comment on this.

Good place to base yourself if you want to visit Wadden Sea National Park or surrounds. Bird watching opportunities and interesting museum on the northern outskirts of town. Also a war grave ceremony from WW2 across the road from the Maritime museum (through the little forest), which includes allied and German graves, and sadly, graves of German refugees who fled to Denmark at the end of the war.

Nice harbour town with brisk west coast weather.
Nice harbour town with brisk west coast weather. Driving in the city was easy, and the town appears relatively clean and well maintained. Would have loved to linger longer and explore activities at the harbour.

A fantastic town for shopping, eating drinking and meeting people.
Really enjoyed the short break and to have eaten at two places suggested for evening meals, La Bamba’s Mexican restaurant and Det Arabiske Køkken. Both places are cosy, comfortable with friendly staff, serving veggie/vegan food and now come highly recommended by myself.
As you started this subject with a breakfast example, I did not like it either. It was a voucher for a free breakfast (up to the specified amount) in the establishment of the Hotel BB neighbourhood. Coincidentally, I booked the accommodation for a Saturday (the last day of my stay in Denmark), but Sundays are the days when this establishment is closed. Some rain started, therefore I left Denmark with no breakfast.
We staid one night in the main building and one night in the cottage. Both can be recommended! The rooms are very clean and the way it is furnished and decorated makes you feel at home. The breakfast was excellent. The day of arrival, we received an SMS from the owner, telling us the room number and the code for the key box. Like that, we were able to arrive late. Esbjerg may be reached by car within a few minutes.
Was a perfect place for a two day trip to meet my friends. My room would be small for someone who was planning to do a lot of work or spend a lot of time there, but as a relaxing place to stay with a great firm bed, a perfect location for enjoying bars and restaurants and still being close to the station, it was a perfect fit to my trip!
It was a quick pitstop here for me, as I was only in Esbjerg for less than 24 hours, and the guesthouse was perfect for my night's stay. The location was great - in a quiet street a short walk from the city's main shopping area and restaurants - and my room and the communal areas were beautifully clean.
The breakfast is good, properly served and completed by the personnel (breakfast buffet type ) but it is not extraordinary. A decent one! The location, on the other hand, is very good, in the city center, a few hundred meters from the city's central square, where festivals, concerts, etc. take place.
We couldn’t stay in the house because the house was dirty .Nobody clean the house before we came. The smell inside was horrible. We spoken about that on the telephone with call centre and told them that we took some pictures and we will leave the house. We went to a hotel instead.
A really good hotel. Located within walking distance to the city center and the harbor. Breakfast was good. I used the hotel parking, and the system works really well. All in all a good hotel to stay at for business or for a holiday in Esbjerg.
The stay in a nice hotel in a quiet location
The room was clean and sufficiently equipped. The kitchen is accessible for all and well-equipped.
Breakfasts were good and nutritious
The host was nice and very helpful.
I RECOMMEND
Spacious, modern hotel, well situated for train station (and bus out to Fanø ferry); restaurant has very attractive outlook over green area; enjoyed our dinner and breakfast there; very pleasant staff.
Outside of the major city, close to grocery stores and bakery. The view of the ocean is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and extremely nice. The breakfast is good (grab an ocean view table:D)
This Bed&Breakfast is lovely, very well located (in the center of the city), the rooms we had were big and comfortable, and Birgit is friendly and answered emails very quickly.
The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the town center and to the railway station and bus terminal.
They have renovated an old town house building.
Nice hotel for an overnight stay. The rooms are good and It's easy to get to the hotel. They have a good restaurant with a fantastic view over Esbjerg.
