Great place very close to train station, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast.
Aalborg is a very friendly city to the visitors. There are many nice cafes, Penny Lane is one of them.
There are many parks and beautiful lakes.
It is cheaper than Copenhagen but still expensive for people coming form the south of Europe.
If the weather is nice is a fantastic city for those who do not like much the noise of bigger cities and there is everything one needs.

Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

Aalborg is a great town to visit, it has a lot to offer for someone looking for a short city break.
Bars, restaurants, waterfront and multiple cultural things to see is great - and with a 15 min. taxi ride from the airport - this town is a great get-away!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some miniature ships on display in the lounge, and the hotel seems to have a maritime theme going on. The room had light switches like in normal apartments, which I appreciate, because I didn't need to play around with the door card to get some random lighting like in other hotels that use the card system. In the morning, I heard they had gluten-free options at the restaurant downstairs (but needed to be told in advance, so they could prepare).
Pier 5 is a superb hotel situated right next to the water. Everything we needed was so close by. We walked to the best part of town and we’re able to eat in a quaint restaurant and coffee shop. The receptionist, Selle, was a life saver. She arranged for us to go to our room early, and go to a medical facility on a Saturday for treatment for a fall my husband had on the train. She called us a taxi and we could never have managed all this without her!
No expensive lobby or reception, no daily cleaning, just me and my rented appartment... Exactly what I needed! Ideal location to discover Denmark by car and absolutely loved it.
Appartment was very clean and everything you need was there. Great oven! Even though induction cooking is not my thing (i absolutely hate the touch tap keys to operate it) it is good to have the option to cook my own meals.
I will be returning!
The location is excellent. The price is the lowest I can find at such a location in the whole Aalborg area. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, transportation, and everything else in the city center. It has a very short walking distance to the seaside. The staff is friendly and ready to help 24-7. It is possible to buy drinks and snacks in the lobby (very useful when it is in midnight).
The location is very good, at walking distance from the railway station and close to many bus stops (including from and to the airport), close to the historical centre and the waterfront.
The hotel offers coffee and tea 24/24 and there are spaces for small gatherings (the downside of it being that the hotel is noisy).
Good location very close to Aalborg city centre. A nice tourist class hotel. Clean and well equipped room. One of the best fitness rooms I have ever seen in a hotel, big plus! Good breakfast. All in all good value for money accomodation in central Aalborg.
the property was amazing. It has good parking, a nice trail to walk your dog, the reception area has a nice lounge, if the weather is good they have several outside lounge areas and a large garden behind the hotel. Bus stop was close by. The br
Location was great and comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Free bike hire included which was really appreciated. Reception staff really helpful with transport links and any queries we had. A brilliant first impression of Denmark.
Excellent beds. Great breakfast (don't be fooled by your first impression). Great value for money. Quiet and friendly hotel. The name of the place is perfect. I didn't sleep so well in years. The location is not bad either.
Fantastic hotel. Great location, close to the city centre. Comfy beds. Option of an apartment within the hotel which worked perfectly for with a group of friends. Friendly staff. Great range of breakfast options.
The location was excellent for this hotel, right in the center of the town with windows looking to the walking - (party) street. A little noisy on the weekend, but a very positive atmosphere.
I use always Cabinn hotels in Copenhagen, Aarhus and this time in Aalborg, when I travel in Denmark. The personel is always kind and helpful, so this is a very positive experience for me.
The location because of its proximity to restaurants and shopping centers. The view was also great! out of the hotels we stayed in, this hotel has the friendliest staff.
