Camping le Frêche à l’Âne is located in Brittany, 6 km from Pleherel beach and 1 km from the coast. It provides self-catering accommodation in mobile homes and bungalows, each with a private terrace and BBQ facilities. The campsite was quiet and allowed us a good night's sleep. As well, it was nature at its best. The hostesses were helpful and tried their best to accommodate us with our lack of French. We enjoyed the one night that they offered to sell dinner - fish, chips and salad. We would stay there again if the opportunity comes up in the future. As a matter of fact, we will consider staying in campsites from now on.

The bar was clean and staff in the bar and on reception were fantastic. So helpful. 3 bed caravan was clean, had all the things you would need. The bus stop was 5 mins walk away straight into St Malo old town. You can buy the bus tickets from reception and the buses are every 15 mins so was very easy. We can’t wait to return.
