The beautiful interior and very quiet area. It is only just over 100 metres to Albert Heijn Supermarket. Shower was fantastic and all of the electrical items one would need. It is nearby the cafes and main shopping street Haarlemmer Straat.

Leiden is a beautiful little city. Familie Quellhorst is in a surprisingly convenient location to the shopping center of Leiden (very short walk over). The little apartment feels like a home away from home -- it is cheery, cozy, comfortable, and equipped with a kitchen and a generously sized table in the living room that we used to play board games/card games on. Every morning we were greeted by the host's chickens on our way out of the gate. The Dutch stairs on the property are odd if you're not used to them, but it was fun to get used to navigating them as they showed up all through the Netherlands throughout our stay. The property is quiet in the morning -- you can watch people as they go by on their bikes and hear the birds singing and the church bells ringing as you wake up. This, for us, was a picturesque, peaceful, and soul-soothing stay, and we couldn't be happier with the place.

Really well equipped with everything possible one can need during the stay. Probably recently renovated appartment as everything inside seemed brand new (furniture and electrical appliances). Very clean and spatious appartment in a quiet neighbourhood about 10-15 minutes walk from city center.
