The lovely host Alberto met us at the square to help us get through the village as an event was taking place and cars were being stopped .After showing us to the gorgeous apartment he travelled with us to the park the car . Then took us all around the village showing us different restaurants bars shops etc and introduced us to some locals. Such a exceptional welcome was much appreciated

It is a magical place with a beautiful terrace where you can sit for hours looking at Mount Etna. To experience all of that you need a car to get there. It is a house with an amazing atmosphere, not a soulless apartment or hotel room. The openness and friendliness of the hosts is an undoubted advantage of this place. Collecting fruit from a nearby orchard with the hostess will remain in my memory for a long time.

Castelmola is a beautiful little town about 20 minutes higher than Taormina. It doesn’t have a touristy feel to it, while it has some great restaurants and lovely people. This little house is right in the center of old town and yet very quiet. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great! Right next door is a great place to get coffee and a chocolate croissant. There is free parking about a 5 minute walk and a bus every hour to Taormina. Thanks to Adriana, the owner, for helping me!

Before arrival, Federica contacted us and send us the coordinates get to the property, since GPS systems might guide you through a difficult road. One of the hosts, Carlo, awaited us at the designated spot and escorted us from the road to Casa Ziretto, which was very handy!

We like the views of the sea from the patio and the quietness of the place. The convenient parking area. The place was very clean and new. We enjoyed getting to know Giorgio and Antonella. They were very friendly and nice to us from the moment we arrived. The dog Alex was a plus for us! We loved him very much :)

This was a great experience. The hosts are very nice, we also got some extra refreshments and a bottle of wine as a welcome. The whole apartment was spotless clean and smelled so good! Beds are very comfortable and the view.. what a wonderful view! I would love to get back during my next trip and would recommend this to anyone.

Very friendly and helpful host. It's hard to imagine more nice person :) The big advatage is the option to leave your car on a nearby private parking available for the small fee. Great location - bus transport to Taormina is very easy, charming mornings and evenings in Castelmola without crowds are unforgettable. Two separate bathrooms were perfect for a group, comfortable beds, clean, amazing view, 30min walk by foot to Taormina, private parking. It is a bit challenging to go uphill with the car to Castelmola but in turn you get a very quiet apartment with a great view and some restaurants around. You can hear the neighbors a bit as the walls are not very thick but we personally did not mind; it was still very quiet in the evening and we slept well.IrisGroup
