Sala is a luxurious, exclusive guest house. The furnishings are luxurious and modern. The staff are extremely attentive and will go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. Sala can compete on the same level as the Oyster Box in Umhlanga, but the best part is that Sala is small, exclusive and intimate as opposed to a big hotel. Sala is perfect for the traveler who is looking for luxury, and also wanting a more exclusive intimate and quieter stay. I love Sala Beach House.

United KingdomThe lunch& dinner are one thing this hotel could work on. The restaurant offers set menu with 2-3 choices of starters and mains. Food is okey but i would expect a better quality for the price & in such an amazing place. Breakfasts are super nice still (especially the full continental one)
The hotel is less then a year old, state of art design and amenities, exceptional stuff and treatment. Best view on the coast, direct access to a nice (unequipped) blue flag beach. Room is spacious and has all you need for a nice stay (from basics to yoga mats and sun cream), has all possible plugs, a work desk and all in exactly right places. Exceptional reception with a MCC welcome drink and help with the bags. No energy/wifi disruptions - probably iwn generators in place. Outstanding SPA centre onsite, requires upfront booking. Pictures on booking.com exactly as things are in reality.

South AfricaI really feel that this is overpriced for what is included. Most of the top game lodges charge a similar rate but include meals and drinks. We have been fortunate to travel extensively, and feel this should be priced better, especially for locals. Perhaps all inclusive at a slightly higher rate OR reduce the rate and only include breakfast.
Loved the decor, position, service, setting and facilities. Good menu and good use of space. Loved the pool area and courtyard. I would say this is the best beach resort we have in KZN. Slick service and great attention to detail.

South AfricaDinner looked promising and so elegant but was in fact a huge let down. So much detail and attention in this hotel and yet the food is not up to scratch. Butternut soup was bland, mussel fettuccine tasteless without balance or flavor and chicken with aubergine dry and boring. Perhaps keep food ingredients simple with attention to clean, tasty dishes with colour, best ingredients and freshness. Dont overthink it - use good meat, fresh salads and good olive oil ... simple!
Spaces are beautiful, bedrooms lovely and all attention to detail is made. Breakfast very good, coffee great. Loved the decor and the peace and quiet. Staff are attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
