We loved our stay at Pho Cho Dem Villa, so much so that we extended 3 times! First and foremost, Vy and the staff were exceptionally welcoming, warm, and hospitable. Vy always had a smile on her face and was fully present with us when talking, making sure we had everything we needed! She consistently went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and provided comprehensive information about Hoi An. She was always available by WhatsApp if not in person. She arranged motorbike rental, car transport and a tour for us at a very reasonable price! The property was charming and clean, designed thoughtfully and tastefully, and felt like a little sanctuary within the bustling town of Hoi An. The beds are comfy and they provide 4 pillows which is a bonus! The bathrooms are clean, there is hot water, and filtered water machine available at reception for refills. There is a little dipping pool (I recommend this paired with your morning coffee when the sun is out), and they serve your choice of breakfast which was tasty :) they even prepared us a delicious traditional Vietnamese breakfast! Overall, after our days out in Hoi An, we always felt relieved and at ease coming back to what felt like our Hoi An family home. Thank you Vy and staff! We will miss you!

The staff was the best we have ever encountered. Always so accommodating offering coffee or water, you see the staff a lot which makes the hotel feel very comfortable. Helped organize a taxi to the airport and packed us some food for the trip, which is so greatly appreciated. Room was lovely!

The many services they offer on top of the stay. We were able to send our tailor made clothes by post through her. If you need to do your laundry they offer that too. And if you want to chill out and calm down after a busy day you take a beer out of the fridge and drink it by the pool.

The only minor issue was the wifi which wasnt working well in the room

In my 3 months of travel around Asia, they have been the nicest hosts! always welcoming you with the biggest smile, providing water, advice, anything you need! The room was spacious with a balcony and so so comfortable, location 3 min walk from the night market. Really I can recommend this to everyone! Thank you so much!

The windows were huge, but we had to close the curtains for most of the time, because it was easy to look into the room and the bathroom. Also the bathroom window was a bit see through from the room what could be a problem for some.

One of my favourites so far after travelling South East Asia the last few months! The loveliest family run hotel with the sweetest people. Pho was so helpful with everything, from giving a map with recommendations for everything from food to activities, to booking tours, transport etc. They even checked in on me to see if I wanted something to eat when I was sick and in my room! Rooms are spotless and have a great modern bathroom with good shower pressure. They'll also make you free coffee (salt coffee my fave) and tea anytime you like. Very good location close to all the main areas, but down a little side street so away from the footfall. Would definitely recommend!!!

1. Not having elevators means it's hard for older guests to walk up and down everytime 2. The middle rooms which had queen beds were quite tiny and not spacious enough to keep luggages as needed

1. Wonderful hosts - Vy & Vince treat you like their own family. 2. They made excellent breakfast and almost had it like a buffet for our family group of 13. They made everything fresh in the morning and put out vegetarian menu as requested :) 3. All our tours, taxis, tickets etc were thoroughly organised and given to us in time. 4. Location of the house is so close to the night market but there's no noise or crowd at all. Feels very secluded 5. It's a family home that houses 6-8rooms and are all very pretty

Everything was as great as all previous reviewers have said. Best part is the people - so lovely and super helpful. Great coffee, great breakfast (pre-order the Vietnamese dishes, they’re yum) great quiet location but only a couple of mins walk away from all the craziness. Lovely little pool to cool down in and a nice little balcony off our room.

The beds were very firm (pretty much the standard in the region). Some fitment issues (e.g. the MDF headboard was not professionally made, sockets not installed as expected, door to adjoining room could only just be opened due to bed frame position). The breakfast was only adequate. We preferred exploring to find our own breakfast. While in a quieter location, there was construction next door with a lot of noise from fairly early. They offered bikes to use for free as compensation, but there were never enough available when we thought to use them, and were too big for my youngest.

The staff are very helpful with recommendations and will act as your tour guide to visit the local attractions. My son loved the pool (even though it's a little cold). The location is a little further from the Old Town than I had originally booked (another villa), but it is quieter at night, and only a 3 minute walk from the island's "pub street".

Nothing - everything was really good!

During our 8 months traveling the world we have only really had a couple of hosts who were genuinely excited to have you and that are really happy and nice as a person. This was the case here!!! Everyone was so extremely friendly and helpful and kind! Hotel is great - rooms are very nice! Breakfast is good. Can only say good words about this Hotel!

Construction currently taking place next door from 9am-5pm each day, didn’t bother us much as we were out a lot and the staff were very good about it.

Great location near everywhere in Hoi An and in a quiet location. We had the room with a balcony which was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and staff were lovely!

If you plan on paying with a card, it's possible, just know they share the machine with other shop nearby, so they have to go get it - no big deal, it just takes about five minutes for the receptionist to get it there, so take that into consideration and don't leave the payment to last possible seconds before leaving if on tight schedule.

The acommodation was neat, location was nearby the night market and the personnel was incredibly helpful. I would say I hadn't encountered such motivated and helpful personnel before. :-) They offered us reasonably priced taxi to the airport (cheaper than Grab), dealt with getting us tickes for the Memories of Hoi An show as well as the day tour to My Son, both with a slight discount. Drinkable water was available for free 24/7, which was nice, as getting enough bottled water all the time had been a bit of a hassle during our trip. We got this acommodation with a last-minute deal, so the price was very neat, but I would say it is worth even the regular price (though it's higher for the Vietnamese standards - but in Hoi An everything is expensive, so it's not special in that aspect).

Fantastic location in the Old Town - a few minutes walk from the center but on a quiet side street. Very clean, large rooms, great shower water pressure. Vy and Hang were very friendly and very helpful with all our questions, booking a motorbike and bus tickets - perfect hosts. Highly recommend Pho Cho Dem Villa!

Tricky to find at first

Amazing location, right near the Old town and the bustling night market. Room was quiet at night despite the proximity to the night market. Breakfast in the morning was nice, and the staff was always keen to make coffee or tea at any point during the day.

Nothing at all. It’s perfect!

Everything the host provided is more than EXCELLENT. We received sweet smile, sincere caring and best service during our 3-days stay (Yes, we extended another 2 days after staying the first night). The host offers unlimited free cafe (really great quality cafe) and water during our stay. The room is sweetly decorated with a nice balcony for us to chill and chat. Meanwhile, it’s sparkly clean! The location is the best we can imagine as the ancient town is just 5 mins walking or 1min bicycling. Honestly, this accommodation is really the best one we had in Vietnam.

This was the perfect place to stay for our time in Hoi An. Everyone was super friendly and incredibly helpful. They booked our tours and onwards travel whilst always offering cold water and delicious coffee! We felt so at home at this homestay. If I'm ever back in Hoi An then there is only one place I'll be staying.
