It is a homestay, so you have to accept that the walls are not isolated, you can hear your neighbour pretty much. Earplugs recommended.

Feels like coming home… The lovely owner with the name 'Dhu' does everthing to offer you a nice stay. Ca Phe, tea, bananas and heartly smiles - all included.

The shower was a bit small

The hostess was really nice helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was good we had eggs bread vegetables and fruit there was also a Vietnamese option noodle soup the room was good big window with a view and there were a few restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance but you can also take a bike. over all we enjoyed the stay very much

The location is not too great though within about 10-15 minutes walk to get great view of padi fields and mountains

The service was great, the lady boss was very warm and helpful. The basic facilities met our simple needs and our room was clean and well maintained throughout our stay.

Mai Chau is more touristy than guidebooks say and is generally reported. Lots of homestays, and it was not easy to tell which places were restaurants open to all and which were hosting house guests, which could be difficult to navigate. The bathroom floor could be very slippery. Otherwise a lovely en suite room and place to stay.

Lovely hostess. Very helpful and friendly. Lovely location near river and rice fields. Breakfast was by a pond with beautiful lotus waterlillies. Local people playing football, going about daily life - in fields and around houses. Stilt houses with beautiful carved doors shutters. Thatched roofs. Lots of shops / house fronts selling local craft cloth and clothes as well as more common market things. Near Bungalow there was a co-operative / workshop for disadvantaged local women who had lovely original textiles , bags etc on sale.

Du is a really sweet and friendly woman who gives you a warm welcome in her beautiful accommodation in a nice and quiet area in Mai Chau.

Everything was perfect, I would give it 11/10 if it was possible :). Ha Du is an amazing host and she helped us with everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here and use the bicycles to explore the area :)

The location is great, a minute from the rice fields and near a coffee place and a supermarket. But above it all it's the host Du, which is absolutely amazing, takes cares of everything you need, gives recommendation, cooks lovely food and just such a caring person! Would definitely recommend!
