Trains constantly. Very noisy. Homeless camp across the street. Quite dated needs a gut and remodeling.

Shuttle driver would take you and pick you up from anywhere you wanted.

Vegetarian option could also be there. I understand majority of the people are non- vegetarian so the breakfast is made accordingly but due little consideration can be given to other may be.

The location was next to train depot and was alarming for a traveler. , no restaurant, no amenities .

Sheets were dirty with the top sheet having wedgy like stains. We didn’t notice until we were in bed so we just removed it off and placed it by the tub. No need to notify front desk at 11 pm. Also there were several parties coming in from a cruise and we were there around 2 pm but we were told we couldn’t check in until 3 pm so we waited in the lobby with our suitcases. By that time as more people came in and went up to the desk they start checking them in when they should have checked us in after waiting for over an hour in the lobby. It was a mess and lots of dissatisfied customers.

The shuttle drivers were great and were open to providing short shuttle services to downtown.

The property uses single use paper cups and plates and there was an issue with no hot water the night we stayed there but this was then fixed. We weren’t given the room we’d booked and we decided to change our accommodation after one night. Staff mentioned they were under new ownership and were hoping to improve things.

Breakfast was closed early and scare in the mornings. Coffee, tea started was available 24 hours but was put away under counter 10 minutes before breakfast ended. No clean towels or room clean up entire stay and when asking for towels were not available. Inside pool was extremely cold expected it to be heated in Alaska. Wish the fireplace in lobby was utilized beautiful asset but wasted amenities. Shuttle unavailable often

There was one bug in our bed at night. It was dark but my partner felt something rub over his leg; several hours later he felt it run over his face. We turned on the lights to find it (now 4 am); it was very small, on his pillow. He squished it and there was blood.

The breakfast included hot scrambled eggs and bacon, sausage. But otherwise was mediocre. well, typical is probably fair. No fresh fruit or yogurt. The coffee was hot and good.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great. Helpful, welcoming. Shuttle drivers (both night and next day) were courteous and --more important--careful on the terrible icy roads. Both had to adjust the route to or from airport to find safe roads.

We asked for a wake up call and didn’t get it. That was all and even that was not a big deal

Breakfast was excellent. The shuttle service was great and the staff were great too. Really like how the shuttle will drop you off in the city and then pick you up later to take you back to the hotel. Awesome 👏

Light bulbs were burnt out by the bedside. And the complimentary breakfast was a bust. Not enough personnel hired to keep up with the demand of the guests. Facing a half hour wait, at least, to get breakfast, we ended up going into town to find some breakfast to eat. Also the pool was cold and disappointed that there was no hot tub.

Nice warm, spacious room and fabulous bed and pillows, with a great view of Ship Creek flowing past on a cold winter day. And loved the "Alaska look" of mounted taxidermy work in the lobby and from our doorway. And it worked out quite stellar that the ice carving championships were right across the road from the motel

Place was not clean, room was not clean, trash was in the trash can from previous travelers, door didn’t shut very well. Sheets were not really laundered well. Train horns were always blown.

The breakfast was cold and did not get refilled in a timely manner. The location was not in a great environment. The shower did not have hot water.

It was close to the train station so the train horn went on through the night. We also had a strange experience with the front desk staff acting awkward and judgey after we told them we were only staying for the night.

We had a corner room and it was very cold (60) because it of how cold it was outside. And breakfast was minimal and sub-par. And there was no shower curtain!

The carpet was gross! There were three dark, disgusting stains in the bathroom area which prevented me from using and feeling comfortable in the bathroom. There were no face towels or bath mat.

I loved the location, close to downtown and right across from the train station. I loved the lobby...very comfortable and entertaining with the giant bears. My room was comfortably warm and the bed was very comfortable. I felt safe at this hotel.

Breakfast can be improved. We stayed 5 days, they only change the menu twice. Instead of ham, they put sausage. Everything else is the same. Your choice would be ham and egg, cereals, yogurt, DIY waffles. That’s it. They got coffee, apple juice, orange juice and water. They don’t have new year’s eve perks or complimentary or paid celebration like the other hotels in downtown. The sound of the train from the station sometimes wake us up! Bigger television should complement a bigger room but not a deal breaker. Toiletries need to be picked up in the lobby. Not default in the room.

The room is very big!!! Wifi is decent, usable! Location is good. Especially during our visit last week of december. Beautiful view with all the snow especially from our room! Staff is helpful too and kind Free shuttle to mall and airport! Free breakfast is okay. Great lobby as well
