Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyEverything was perfect during our stay, the only thing that was not comfortable that the hotel seemed significantly overcrowded. Where ever you go you will bump into the lines - elevator, kids activities, buffet. Even though we booked a breakfast time slot, finding a table was still a challenge. This was honestly the most crowded hotel I've ever stayed in.

HungaryThe hotel’s design is extraordinary, very unique. Did not expect it to be so children friendly - slide and merry-go-round in the hotel. Loved it with 3 small children. The staff was really helpful.

SingaporeWeekend breakfast crowd can be extremely busy while weekdays are empty.
Themed hotel with a slide, games room and a cinema for the family and kids. At every corner there is a display or picture trying to tell you a story.

United KingdomThe place was magical. From the moment you enter into the lobby and up the lift it is Alice in Wonderland type of place. Then there is a slide down from the second floor (who needs the stairs?). There is gentle but positively epic music theme playing in the background so that every time you are in the corridor it's like you are on cusp of great adventure (Pirates of Caribbean or Jurassic Park come to mind). The room is comfortable with a good powerful shower and a spacious bathroom and kids have their bunk bed. There is a kettle but bring your tea unless you are fond of Earl Gray. Good size fridge helps to keep the drinks cool. Don't miss out on the 8th floor bar. Breakfast was an event for the kids - pancakes drowned in smarties and nutella were top of the list, but occasionally other items were consumed like veg chocolate cake - the only complaint was "too chocolatey..." - First World Problem if I ever heard of one! Of course there is also the location - right next to the Lisberg Park - The Rollercoaster Eldorado ( you can get tickets in the lobby) and five minutes away from the World of Volvo - more sedate but fun place (for kids too! tickets online). Check opening times for Lisberg!!! It's FUN. Short walk away (need GPS) is Olstugan Tullen - a great mellow pub - superb for some Swedish meatballs for dinner and a few drinks. Highly recommended. Outside the hotel there is tram stop (No 4 and No 2) - allowing access to the entire Gothenburg (don't need to rent a car). From the Airport the hotel is near the first stop of the Grey Bus (Flygbussarna). Get a Vasttrafik App into your phone. If you have any spare time (like a whole day) and the weather is good head out to the Islands for a long walk. Alternatively (for half a day) walk with the kids in the Slottsskogen Park. Enjoy.

FinlandAll the small details of the hotel were beautiful and well thought out. The hotel is designed for adults and children. I have not visited a hotel that is so well designed and takes into account the needs of each guest. As a bonus, the rooms were quiet, so the sounds did not disturb the night's sleep, as in many other hotels. Big recommendation!

NorwayGenerally nothing, but there were few small bummers during our stay, that maybe can be fixed. The room itself is beautiful and spacious, but, the beds were too soft for all of us and the “kids room” was very dark -or too bright if the lights are switched on,so pack up a night lamp, if the kids don’t like dark too much 😅. Plus the bed sheets are probably the loudest I have ever come across, not something I would generally react on, but it really made an impression 😅. Not sure if there is daily housekeeping and what it includes, but the room was only “cleaned “ once during our 4nights stay, and even then just very selective. Would appreciate more information about the kids activities at the hotel, there is a cinema and gamesroom that I didn’t know will be opened the last two nights , so we didn’t use them and it could have been fun, had already different plans. And last, while the breakfast (and dinner) buffet is sufficient, the choices were a little limited, smoothies were missed dearly. It’s a shame, because exploring the options at the hotel is usually fun. Think the effort is mostly put to candy station, which is pretty impressive. The heating solution just doesn’t work, the food was lukewarm most of the time, even though the staff did their best with refilling and closing the lids. The meat was visibly dried up form it, but we did eat the dinner buffet in a calm day.
Kind and helpful staff, amazing decor, great location. Fun for kids and still kinda relaxing for parents.

SwedenMinor but no good place to stop the car and drop bags off at entrance.
Brilliant hotel for families! From entering the hotel and the giant slide for kids beside the reception, to our spacious well design family room which was comfortable, super clean and perfect for our needs, to the huge breakfast choice (including good vegan options) and carousel to entertain kids, to the kids playroom and movie room, the hotel was beyond our expectations. Being right beside Liseberg was perfect for us as we spent a whole day there. Our kids are 10 & 8 years old and they loved it all! Great views and cocktails at the rooftop bar. Friendly efficient service. Car parks with loads of electric charging stations very close by.
