Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The entrance is flanked by chairs, 🪑, which is quite awkward. Why not flowers?

Everything is so nice in this hotel. Second time I am staying here, and I will definitely be back, when visiting Craiova. It is noticeable the attention given to details, by the management and staff, to make you feel comfortable. Excellent breakfast!

The bathroom small and shower small for 4 stars standard

The ventilation: it seemed it did not work when nobody is in the room and, when returning, there was a bad smell at the entrance, that I had to let the bathroom ventilation on for a few minutes. There was no heating option in the bathroom, which made the floor to be very cold.
I liked the location: near to city centre and Christmas Market. The breakfast had plenty options to choose from. The room size was decent for a family with one kid.

Room card didn’t work, had to use key. Prices were really inflated during the Christmas market and Romanian national day week.
Location is great in the very heart of the city facing the theatre, facilities are really good, breakfast was fabulous. Staff went above and beyond. Above average and probably the best in Craiova.

*The staff were unfriendly to the point of being rude. The woman who checked us in was particularly unpleasant. *There's a lift, but it starts on the first floor, so you need to walk/carry luggage up the first flight of stairs. Not an issue for us, but it probably wouldn't be suitable for people with mobility issues.
*Fantastic location to explore the town. We were there for the Christmas market and the hotel was only a few steps away from the first of the markets. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. *The room was large, clean and beautifully appointed. The bed was big and comfortable. Robes were provided, along with decent toiletries. Large flat screen TV, fridge and coffee machine in the room. We had a view over the ferris wheel of the Christmas market, which was very pretty. Despite the central location, we didn't hear any noise at night. *The general decor of the hotel was nice. It felt surprisingly luxurious. *Breakfast was excellent. Huge selection of cheeses/meats along with a few self service hot options.Coffee and juice were of a good quality. *WiFi was strong and there was a safe in the room.

no parking available near the hotel. a parking lot can be found at about 300 m distance, for 10€/day if paid via the hotel. sometimes there is an unpleasant odor coming from the bathrooms.

Downside of the great location is noise from the busy street, unfortunately the hotel isn’t noise proof and their paid parking is in a private parking with barrier for which we didn’t have a remote so we needed to call and wait for the hotel staff to open it each time we wanted to leave. Not ideal for 60 RON a night parking.
Located in the old town of Craiova the hotel is very clean, comfortable rooms, great buffet breakfast.

The street was a bit noisy with motorcycles revving their engines but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. It quieted down after 11 PM

Located as central as it gets, dough no parking spot availble, there are options around on the street with 0.5 eur/ hour or in a large underground parking nearby. Everything was clean, and it had all that you could possibly need for the stay. Quite a large bathroom too. Continental breakfast with a lot of options - different types of cheese, eggs, meats, sweets.
